  Do these actually go to the edge of the screen and the outer black border not cover some of the LCD? I bought two (different sellers and name) cheap ones off eBay for around this price just so I had 'something' and they both seem to be 1mm too small.

    It will not completely cover the entire surface, because the protective case will be taken into consideration, so most protective film designs will leave space

      I'm not talking about touching the case, I'm talking about covering the screen. The visible pixels of the LCD should not be covered by the black border right?

        Yes, the black border will not block the screen. The black border design is mainly to cover the bubbling on the edge of the screen, avoid reflection on the edge of the glass, and strengthen the strength of the edge.

            @jimojr: iPhone screens have had a built-in black border since the X series, and the black border of the protective film covers it. However, the 16 series has achieved 1mm, so if it is not installed accurately, it will cover the screen.
