We've seen Ebay plus kill or reduce the offers they started with and only get worse over time.

Whats even more insulting is the $0 confirmed cashbacks from prime day with no opportunity to dispute. Shopback can no longer be trusted. Ill be closing my account with them.

I suspect their upsized cashback offers did not "stick", so an item purchased under an upsized 0.5% cashback reverted to the standard 0% cashback.
I have dropped them an email and will see what happens next. At least the more significant $3 bonus from $30 Amazon spend tracked for me.
@GimmeCashback: That's definitely not good. I had 1 of 3 rejected but the 2 that confirmed with $0 cashback just covered the $30 spend.

There is an AliExpress offer up to 15% cashback (capped at $50 per transaction) for Plus members.
Or just go to TopCashback US who often have 15% uncapped for free.
No US phone or address required either.
My last AliExpress order didn't track with TopCashback AU. Had to submit a claim for each item. I'm a regular AliExpress shopper with TopCashback AU and Cashrewards. It's the first time tracking was an issue. Will not be using TopCashback US or ShopBack in case of any issues. Will stick to TopCashback AU as TA is the rep.

That's just increased methods of earning even more profits on top of the commissions that they don't pay out / reject from mine and other people's experiences. ShopBack doesn't live up to their name anymore, and with this paywall like @lachlantula stated, this is just getting out of hand! Ridiculously crazy, don't bother with ShopBack, trust me…Second this. To my surprise almost all my amazon prime day purchases were tracked at $0. Cant be trusted.

Am I missing something why so much neg comments? Pay with existing shopback cash per month to get plus member and $5 giftcard value to cancel the monthly fee sounds like no brainer. Not sure where are all the hates coming from.

Right now, as you mentioned, it's basically free. Better than free, even ("give us $5, we'll give you that $5 back AND extra cashback on top!"). ShopBack is trying to lure in customers with an unsustainably good deal.
And then, after they've gotten a good amount of subscribers, something interesting starts happening. They start upping the price ever so slightly. The cashback offered slowly starts getting worse and worse. Good features that used to exist are now gone. It happens gradually enough that you don't really notice it up until it's too late. By that time, you've already given ShopBack a bunch of money, and they've given you much less value back.
It's called enshittification, and it's already begun. It may be a good deal right now, but it will turn to crap later. That is why people do not like this.

@sintro When you join ShopBack Plus or renew each month for $4.99, you will receive $5 back to spend on gift cards.
When you add the gift card, at the checkout, underneath the amount, there is an Apply Promo. When you click on it, the $5 will be there to apply to your order. Once used, it will disappear.

They have implemented their new ShopBack Plus subscription instead of attending to existing problems with tracking. Now we have even more issues with them. I have cancelled my Shopback Plus subscription and will not sign up again.

My Econnex switch to Red Energy deal hasn't been tracked correctly on 1 July 2024 (instead of $130 showed $0), then later Rejected. It is over 90 days since I accepted the offer and the money has to be redeemable by now.
Informed @gotyourback and Shopback support team a week ago - no updates since then, radio silence.
I definitely won't be joining this "Plus" $5 donation program and will discourage others.
Better experience in cashrewards for Econnex switch. Althongh still need to contact cashrewards rep to move the status from tracked to comfirmed. I think Econnex never comfirm cashback actively. Pass 3 cashback I only have with them always need to contact cashback company to validate cashback, 2 in cashrewards and 1 in shopback. shopback took a long time.
I switched to dodo through econnex and it tracked without issues.
I removed my negative vote. My $100 has been tracked plus the Westpac Challenge. In the end, I got 10% Cashback.

Managed to buy twice, restarting my phone gave me access to the deal again (battery ran out).
Got $5 cashback for both straight away, still waiting for the Westpac and Bank $5 bonus challenges to complete.
Added both to Prezzee. Like others here have said the first card came through as a Mother's Day GC but the second was a SB Super Swap GC, weird (but it doesn't matter, both cards can be swapped for the same stores).
Saw your comment, bought another one with St George and had the $5 tracked 😂. Hopefully the $5 bonus challenge will come through.
