Activate in app, Earn More tab > More challenges or under Challenges on the gift card page.

There are 2 challenges, one for Uber and one for Uber Eats.

These are targeted, so you may get one, both or neither.

  • Bonus $10 Uber/Uber Eats Gift Card will be added to your "Rewards" under the Earn More section within 48 hours of purchase
  • Bonus $10 Uber/Uber Eats Gift Card will remain accessible in the ShopBack app until 31st July 2025 11.59 pm AEST. You should redeem or save a copy of it elsewhere before then
  • While redemptions last

2% standard cashback on Uber gift cards, but @chanhoz has confirmed that buying an Uber Eats gift card will complete both challenges, currently the Uber Eats $100 has 8% upsized cashback.

    Can confirm: I bought the $100 UberEats Gift Card.
    Got 8% Cashback: $8
    Got Bonus $10 UberEats Gift Card (Challenge 1)
    Got Bonus $10 Uber Gift Card (Challenge 2)
    Effectively: Paid $92 for $120 worth of Uber Credits.

      Check your Rewards, likely you got two $10 Bonus Gift Cards, if you purchased the $100 UberEats Gift Card.
      Note: UberEats and Uber Gift Cards may be used interchangeably - i.e. for Rides and Food both.

        Unfortunately, I have received only one challenge (for Uber eats) but not for Uber. Maybe thats the reason why I recived only one bonus card of 10$

      It's not 18%…

      You pay $100
      You get $100 worth of gift card
      You get $8 back
      You may get $0, $10 or $20 additional gift cards

      That means the discount is
      just cashback: 1-(100-8)/100 = 8%
      one reward: 1-(100-8)/(100+10) = ~16%
      two rewards: 1-(100-8)/(100+10+10) = ~23%

      The general formula for a discount is

      1 - what_you_paid / what_you_get

    Just bought the $100 gift card at 2% since the 8% was showing sold out and only the Uber eats $10 bonus tracked but not the uber
