$400 card so the rest of that looks like at least a $460 pc

    • I missed the deal but also confused by most of the comments.
not sure if it's crap spec or decent deal. not an expert on PC specs but RTX4060 is pretty good isnt it?
I saw an article or post on reddit mentioning the new gen Nvidia graphics coming out, but isn't RTX4060 basically 2nd best until now?

if I want to run all the most popular games right now is this system enough? I don't need to run the games in max 4K resolution just 1440p.

      • isn't RTX4060 basically 2nd best until now

Not a chance. The 4060 only has 8GB of RAM, so it will hold you back in some games, and will definitely be an issue in the next few years.
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ae7XrIbmao

You'll definitely have to turn down the settings if you want to play at 1440p.

        • ok thanks. what would be the 2nd best option that can do 1440p without turning things down? 4070?
4080 is the best right now right if the new ones aren’t released yet.

  • Not sure how good airflow is with that case

    • +4

Fair concern based on appearance, but all the YouTube videos and write ups I’ve seen indicate heat/throttling won’t be an issue, particularly with this CPU/GPU combo which isn’t exactly a powerhouse.

  • +1

    Awesome deal, thanks OP!

  • +1

Thx OP been waiting on a good integrated + graphics deal for a while now…

  • +1

Looks pretty solid for a decent price. The compactness would be a nice addition.

  • +51

Because I was bored and curious, can't compare OEM parts so just used cheapest I could find. These are current prices but if you put in the OZB effort and waited for a deal for each piece it'd come up cheaper (5700g has been $187 previously so that takes off $90 current price if you did that). Not perfect either.

    • Cheers. Helpful info.

How much is Windows 11 Home? Approx. how many hours would it take to assemble from parts?

      • +2

Windows 11 Home from Microsoft is ~$200 or so pending type (key, USB, etc.)

        From alternative sites, <$100

        • +5

          People buy Windows? 😂

      • +1

Usually between $2 and $3USD if you buy a key from whoever the cheapest person on allkeyshop is on any given day.

      • How many hours. Back in early 2000s if you can't build a Desktop PC in half an hour then you are not hired. At least for MSY

    • Win11-Home OS has some value ?

      • Think you’ll find most people just pirate Windows now.

        • -4

Most people buy legitimate keys for a couple of dollars. Always choose pro so you have more control.

          • +1

@Elyxar: No such thing as a legitimate key for a couple of dollars.

        • You don’t even need to pirate windows anymore. Windows is essentially free now, you only need to pay if you want to be able to do some things like RDP to your computer or use Hyper-V. They’re pretty much the only things locked behind a key.

    • +2

Thank you for the effort @Jazza2400, but this makes me see less of the actual deal and more frustrated at the list price of $2,399…

      • +1

Some people want a complete build that works and don't work to deal with putting together PCs. It's horrendously overprice and probably a baseline to discount from during "sales"

      • Nobody pays RRP here. All those prices are unrealistic. Even the older mums and dads won't buy into it

  • +1

Nice looking case for folks who don't want a hideous behemoth! Probably a perfect PC for a parent buying a gaming PC for their kid.

    • +5

perfect gaming PC for the inner kid

  • +1

    got one thanks op

  • +2

why does AU always have so much better deals then new zealand it sucks

    • +18

The same reason the US have better deals than AU.

      • More freedumb?

  • +1

I wonder how the accoustics are with I’m assuming has the awful stock CPU fan?

    • +24

You wouldn't even notice the difference. Stop the cap

    • For just only $863 such a good deal, don't think anyone will care …

    • lol, find us DDR5 with similar perf for same price. I'll wait

  • It doesn't have wi-fi right? I've installed one of those wi-fi cards from aliexpress on my current pc, would it fit in this pc or need a usb one? Any recommendations?

    • +2

Wot? Shouldnt the new PC included the Wifi???

      • -3

It's a shitty motherboard what do you expect

        • Lol. Many other gaming PC seller recently posted deals for 4060 with even shittier Motherboard.

          • @ttt888: They have Wifi though.

            • @rando88: The ones that got wifi is 1199 from nebula I think for rtx4060 build.

    • +5

      HP website states:

      Wireless - Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth®️ 5.3 wireless card (supporting gigabit data rate)

      • +1

thanks, I am an idiot, I saw the bluetooth part but wasn't sure about wifi

        • All good brother, sometimes just need that second pair of eyes.

        • +2

          Should have gone to Specsavers

        • +3

They're usually combo cards, I don't think I've ever seen bluetooth on it's own on a motherboard (unless it's a dongle obviously)

  • Great deal for the price!

    • +1

Yeah and it's out of stock…. Sadly.

Main thing is it comes with Windows 11 home and HP warranty pretty good for the price better than building your own

  • Should I upgrade it if I was using a i510400f with gtx 1650 super? Mostly for revit and cs2. Cheers!

  • This thing will be an absolute hotbox. Small intake with no fan. CPU is being fed warm air from the GPU… expect a lot of noise from this.

    • +2

Every branded pre build gaming PC or laptop will have this comment.

I guess HP, DELL. Etc always fk up for the last 5 years.

      • +4

My Dell xps with gtx 1070 still going strong…

    • +3

      They are low power parts

  • Out of stock within an hour half what the heck

    • Yeh reckon they’ve pull it, said there was 10+ on stock and then instantly gone :(. In transit atm and was gunna buy when I got home for a fam member

      • It's disappointing maybe wrong price or very limited units. If only 10 it's not really a deal for anyone

        • Why do u assume is only 10?

There were ready 1000++ clicks before they sold out.

        • +3

          It's disappointing …

What would be even more disappointing is if you converted $860 Superswap GCs into eBay GCs and it went OOS in your cart as you are inputting the eBay codes and end up with $860 in eBay GCs looking for sth to spend on.

          I was sh*tting it at 9.30am.

      • They didn’t pull it, they ran out of stock. 40+ units were sold since this was posted.

      • So they noticed its a price error maybe?

        • Sounds like it when offiical page is over 2k

  • 1 available now

  • +1

    Thanks OP got one

  • This or the steam deck?

    • What's more important to you?

      Power or space and mobility?

  • There is more stock added.

  • got one! solid home PC plus casual gaming

  • +1

    OOS again

  • This was a good deal i reckon

  • more ozbargainers less bargains when posted

  • probably worth keeping an eye on it, seems like they are adding more stock once it sells out.

    • Yeah, I remember with the laptop deals they had like 1 year ago or so. They ran out but like few hours later (then 1 day later), they added at least 10 at a time in stock.

  • How much bigger is this compared to SFF case? how many 3.5inch hard drive can it fit?

    • looking at the upgrade guide this can fit 2x 3.5 drives, but until I receive mine I can't tell if they can fit simultaneously

  • Bugger missed out twice :(

  • Does it render well on blender?

  • How would this compare to the PS5 pro for purely gaming purpose?

      • +1

RT 4k60 is like the best 4070 Ti super build can achieve, regular 4070 is 4k 40

        • +1

Ps5 pro won't be hitting RT 4k60 for all games either though.

    • +2

Bro that's a 4060, benchmark 40% difference to PS5 pro to say the least

      • +2

yeah @bargainhunter I think you mean the amd rx 6700xt…

        not rtx 4070.

  • Does this normally include e-waste KB & mouse?

    • no kettle bells /j

    • Not normally

  • It's back in stock again! I suspect they must have a massive unsold inventory for such a big discount they are doing. Probably a break even clearance. Expect lots of stock.

  • +4

Those 23 people who have this in their cart.. Can you please make up your mind..

    • Are they in cart but unavailable, or available but not order complete?

    • +6

Didn't think ebay holds stock for items in cart. When i've had items in cart that have gone OOS before, it just tells me its OOS or no longer available next time i go to cart.

      • That’s right. I dont think the stat matters as stock doesn’t hold.

  • +4

Very odd CPU with the build.

    • why?

  • Will it be back in stock now the offer has ended..

    • +2

Don’t think so mate, it appears to be OOS on their website as well as their eBay store.

      • I reckon they ran out of DisplayPort™

they had to put 3 into each unit as per specification!

  • +2

note that the CPU's are locked in BIOS, meaning that you won't be able to upgrade to another CPU - 5700g is the best one supported by the motherboard. List of supported CPU's: 5300g, 5600g, 5700g

also it's a proprietary motherboard, meaning that front and back IO are soldered to the board, and form factor is unusual

so all in all it's a par for the course for a major brand pre-built system

    MB specs are here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c08107471

just a single M.2 (supporting 2242 or 2280) on the MB, but there are 3 SATA connectors
2nd M.2 is occupied by the Wi-Fi module

    MB picture here

interesting solution having front IO soldered to the MB lol

also chipset name is confusing. B550A is really slightly refreshed B450, you're not getting a B550 here
