Flybuys have been on fire with these offers recently.

    • I'm not complaining… Although they moved me up to $60 spend which is fine for me.

      • +1

I got $60 this time, not sure if I will bite.

    • Because govt is keen to light their back

  • Mine is spend $130/week for 4 weeks for 10,000 Points

  • +4

    $140 for me… too much

  • +2

    I dont see offer

    • Keep shopping. It’ll be there.

  • +1

I racked in a decent amount from last offer. So pretty happy.

  • +3

    No offer for me (yet)

  • Does buying alcohol through the Coles app qualify for the weekly spend ?

    • I don’t think spending on Alkohol gets you points , but maybe someone else could clarify this

      • Thanks !

        • +2

Does get points and qualifies for the weekly spends @harrribo
But need to make sure you still hit the required spend if there's out of stock items they can't fulfil.

  • +2

Mine was $60 for 4 weeks.

  • +2

No offer for me this month after skipping last month’s as the amount was too high. Nothing from woolies either.

    • +1

Woolies will send a week after flybys

  • Mine is $130/week for 10k or $180/week for 20k

  • Actually got the $50, but literally don’t need that much of anything for a few weeks aha

    • +4

If I don't need anything immediately I buy products with very long best before dates. 1kg cheese blocks and milk powder are two examples.

      • I do the same, non-perishables like dish soap, toilet paper etc, but I literally have all of that from recent Woolworths shops aha

I’ve got meals prepped for the next few weeks, plenty of toilet paper, soap, breadcrumbs, flour, sugar, everything aha
For the next two weeks I need to spend like $20 a week max aha

    • +6

For Sydney folks opal recharge counts as eligible transaction

      • +1

Yes, got few opals as opal cap at $250.

Also strange this promotion always included opal but others never do.

    • I stockpile buy tuna, passata and pasta for my dogs. Doesn't expire, so if I end up with a giant hoard it doesn't matter. They are cheap and heavy items though, which is a pain in the ass.

  • +3

I get $50x4 month after month now. It looks like Coles has worked out this is the only way for me to spend $50 at their stores.

It's rather nice stocking up on commodities that are the same price at every store, and then getting a 'free' $50 for it.

Hey Woolworths, time for you to compete.

    • +1

      I was surprised to still get $50 x 4, after purchasing 5 x $250 Mastercard's a few weeks back.

      • +2

Yeah, Coles seems to have fixed this. In previous years when I bought 5x $250 cards my next offer was something like 'spend $120x4 to get $50', which I always ignored.

  • +4

    $60, skip.

  • I got $80 which I will easily spend so I'm happy.

  • Mine is $150 for four weeks, however my offer also said if I up it to $200 a week I get 20,000 points. I can easily do this so yay!

    I also have a one-off 2,500 points for a $180 spend.

I had a great offer on the weekend, $180+ spend and 7,600 points. I regretfully didn't end up doing it. If I had I think I wouldn't have got this one?

    • +3

Wow are you feeding like a small village or something.

      • Nah just eating properly with no door dash etc.

      • +6

If I spent $200 a week for 4 weeks at coles my house would look like a supermarket.

  • +1

    I was excluded from the last two - but I’m back with a 4 x $80 for 10k - not too bad

    • yes, same here for my husband and I….we are lucky we got the 4 x $50

  • +3

Previous time was $60 spend, so I skipped and shopped elsewhere. Now it's $80 spend

  • +1

    $270/$320 for 10,000/20,000

    I’ll skip this one.

    • +1

Wow I thought I was the highest with $230/$280.

      • Makes me feel good seeing you guys
        $210/$260 for me
        Fuming

Told wife we have to move to woolies to let FB miss us

  • +1

4*50. Which we hate because we don't drive and carrying $50 worth of stuff even between the two of you is a bit annoying unless you chuck in some small expensive items.

Meanwhile we just had a 10% off if we spent over $80, bought Olive Oil which reduced the price drastically.

BUT also, Coles Soy Milk which has been $1.15 for ages has finally gone up to $1.35 a litre. Bastards.

I know this is saving me money if we shop the right way (eg only buy staples/stuff that we actually need and can keep in storage) but it still feels like we're selling our souls to the Flybuys Devil. Prices should just be lower and do away with flybuys altogether.

    • I have the same problem re weight. So I have to organise for my gf to meet me at the shops with the car to get it done, bit of logistical wrangling.

  • +1

Always used to get the $50 deals….
Then it was $60 and even as a single person, still easily able to fullfill, hitting as close.to $60 as possible.

Now it's $70 per shop, and I fear if I complete this one, will be $80/$90 for subsequent 'deals'

    • +4

Ahh, welcome to the world of dark algorithms. I've had six $50x4 offers this year, and I keep getting more. Why? I don't know. Maybe because I spend only a few dollars per shop outside of the offers, and when I take the offers up I make sure I spend between $50 and $51 to get the maximum percentage benefit.

But who knows? The Flybuys algorithm is a black box.

      • +1

        My last 4 x $60 offer shop was;

        $60.15
        $60.25
        $60.10
        $61.65

Now this time it's $70. So I really don't know.

      • I’ve spend over $100 and some account and still get it on seven $50x4 spend.

  • +4

    I got $50
Someone should add a poll on here

  • +4

Perfect. Just in time to pay for the ACCC fines…

  • finally! We both got it this time! been two lots of these we have missed out 4 x $50 which is easy to do

  • +5

Can't believe that Coles still use the 'in one transaction' rule, especially on larger spend amounts.

  • $110x4 for
    Offer 1: 10k pts
Offer 2: $50 off Coles shop

    (profanity) you flybuys.

Also, according to T&C alcohol appears to be fine(someone asked above), but not tobacco-related stuff.

  • For anyone interested in what they say(the dollar amount varies obviously):

    • Eligible online orders must be placed and delivered or collected within the weekly dates to qualify.
    • $110 or more must be spent in one transaction, after all savings, discounts and vouchers each week for 4 consecutive weeks.
    • $110 transaction excludes purchases of all gift cards, iTunes cards, charity items/donations, tobacco and tobacco-related products, Coles Best Buys online exclusive products and online delivery fees.
  • oh finally it's $50 for me now, thanks.

  • Don't have any offers here

    • Keep shopping.

      • +1

I never spend 1 dollar more than what the offer requires. May be that is why

        • -3

          Yeah probably.

  • +1

There's also gift card discount at Coles at the moment

  • +1

    My 2 accounts both have $50 * 4.

  • $60, skip time!

  • All I got was spend $110 for $50, which is noticably above what I normally spend, so not gonna happen.

  • We got spend $90 in one transaction get 10% off this week. Did that, stacked it with 2000points - $10 discount.
No other offers showing for me now though :(

  • +1

$70 for me on both old accounts, nothing on the new one. I'll skip until the $50 is back.

  • +2

Mine"s gone up to $60/wk still only 10000 pints
…more for less, I already find it hard to spend $50 in one shop as I don’t just shop at one store or just once a week. Will give it a miss.

  • Didn't get any offer this time. Might be related to me fulfilling the last two offers (4x$60) in Aug & Sep.

  • My offer is $70/wk compared to the previous one of $60/wk which I completed. Unsure if I will do this one, though groceries prices being what they are I can definitely spend $70/wk just on my regular spending.

For those interested I did the 5x $250 Coles MasterCard Gift Card promo a couple of weeks back.

  • $80 and missed my 3rd week last round :(

Not sure if I want to join this round.

  • $60 hmm

  • Got it last time, but not this time around. Instead I had a 8,000 points if I spent $25 a week for four weeks on shampoo etc type products.

  • Side item:
When I was a little younger, someone showed me that every item you put into your shopping basket cost $1.00.

Now I'm a few years older, it's approx $5 PER ITEM into your trolley!

Check it next time you do the weekly shopping. Frightening.

  • They see to have moved me up as well. Now I have as below

    Card 1 70/4 weeks => 10000 points + 90 first three days = 2000 point = 12000 points
    Card 2 90/4 weeks => 10000 points
    Card 3 100/4 weeks => 10000 points
    Card 4 Nothing

I have taken card 1. I might be able to afford card 2 on a strech. It has been quite strech lately to afford everything. I think I will just go with card 1 this time.

  • +2

Do not forget to use the Coles Trend to figure out which items you wish to buy and stock up and when

    • Thanks for bringing my attention to Coles Trend. I've now got both Coles Trend and Woolworths Trend extensions in my browser. I used to use Price Hipster for Coles pricing history, but sadly it no longer does Coles or Woolworths.

  • Will paying with Flybuy dollars be ok?

    • Yup, or gift card.

    • +1

But do not accept the instant 2000 points unless you purchase an additional $10 worth.

  • Have been doing the weekly shop but noticed today the offer is no longer there in the flybuys app. Anyone else notice the same?

    • +1

Yeah it happens every week, it will reappear later this week, I think Wednesday but I can't remember exactly.

      • Thank you! Gives me a bit of reassurance haha

        • It should be back there now FYI.

          • @hamza23: Legend! Thanks for the heads up. Can confirm it’s there for anyone else seeing this. 😁

  • Has anyone received any new such offer?

    • No, just finished this one last week.
