How to make a booking

Visit www.malaysiaairlines.com or log in to the Malaysia Airlines mobile app.
Enter your flight details in the ‘From’ and ‘To’ fields.
Select your departure and return dates.
Enter the Promo Code ‘GMHMC24’ and click ‘Find me a flight now’.
Eligible flights and discounted fares will be displayed.
Choose your preferred flights and complete the payment process.

Offer is applicable for Mastercard cards issued in:

North Asia: China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan
South Asia: Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka

Terms & Conditions

  1. The discount code is applicable to round-trip or one-way flights operated by the Merchant
    a. International Flights
    i. Originating from all locations operated by Malaysia Airlines
    ii. To worldwide destinations
  2. Flights must be booked and paid online at the Merchant’ website, on or before 31 December 2024 and complete travel within 1 September 2024 – 30 June 2025 (both days inclusive).
  3. Payment must be made using a qualifying Mastercard card issued in Asia Pacific.
  4. The Code is valid only for new qualifying purchases made online through the Merchant’ website at time of purchase and cannot be claimed after cardholder have confirmed the booking. Travel Blackout dates apply.
  5. The Code is eligible for use on the following cabin classes:
    a. Economy Class (Q,N,S,V,L,M,K,H,B,O)
    b. Business Class (Z,D,C)
  6. Child/infant fares are not applicable for the discount.
  7. The Code cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  8. The Code has no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash. This Code may not be transferred or sold and will not be replaced if it is lost or stolen.
  9. The Code cannot be combined with any other coupons or any other offer or discounts or promotions
  10. The Merchant terms and conditions apply. Please refer to the fare conditions when making a booking for full fare terms and conditions.
  11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Merchant shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

    Thanks OP, was able to get 4.5% off ($220) off a return trip to KL. This promo also works for those flights with non MH operated flights (ie. QF MEL-SYD)

    Buying the top tier economy (flex) nets you a 10% discount off your next top tier economy flex purchase, within a 90 day period.

    We should have a forum for everyone to buy and exchange these codes for a 1-1 basis. So I give you my code and when you buy, you give me your code. Or to someone else buying in that 90 day period.

    The savings to the community would be amazing.

      Book flex flight and get the code.
      Use the code to book same flight again and cancel the previous flight booking.

        No. When you book flex ticket for one passenger, you can use their code to book tickets for another passenger.

        Is the promo code only redeemable by the original booker?
        No, the promo code is transferrable and can be used by any customer. However, validity of the
        promo code is for one-time purchase only

    This could take a one-way business class flight from Osaka to Mel/Syd down to about $1600 and Tokyo to Mel/Syd down to about $1800. Would have to double check fare classes tho

    When I search on the airline’s website with promotion code for domestic flights, it came up almost 60% more expensive compared to when directed from Google Flights (RM852 vs RM539), probably just on the trips I was looking at but still something you should check before book.

        Yes, exact same fare class, same date, same time. Again, I was looking at domestic flights within Malaysia, did not check any flights departing from anywhere in Australia to Malaysia.
