These numberpads go around $129 at RRP. They're having promotion on both black and white since a long while ago at $99 but a further $20 off for white version at the moment!

Coming from that comment, I bet you don't know much about Topre then.
A full-key Topre itself is at $269. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=11…

It's too bad they don't have that number pad with the red escape key.
I find it hard to see the value in this… Sure it might be good, but for most people there are cheaper options out there that are still high quality… I have a Logitech Wireless Number Pad N305 that I paid less than $19 for (Logitechshop had it for $19, got officeworks to pricematch), I've had it for over a year now and it has been fantastic.
Agree!
Good for a professional data entry battery chicken :)
Yes you can enter data much faster with this number pad because it costs more.
The Topre brand is an example of Japanese engineering at its best. This is not a deal for people wanting to spend the minimum for the functionality, but it is a fantastic deal for those who want quality and recognise a piece of engineering art. If you buy it, you'll probably want to look at the $269 keyboard. There is nothing like the feel of a Topre; each key press is clean and distinctive. An analogy may be a Penfold Grange vs a standard bottle of red - these are made in limited quantities and sought after by collectors and enthusiast. I only wished they priced the Black version at that price too.
Come on guys, that's only $3.43 per key. Bargain!
This is a bargain if you need one.
cheaper to buy a whole keyboard and cut the end off ?????
