    Great little set.
Sidchrome Nano is my favourite because of the 1/4" to hex adaptor and 14mm socket.
I recommend buying a small 1/4" to hex adapter and a small hex extension and leaving it in the case so you can easily use it with hex bit screwdrivers and small power tools (eg: vessel, whia insulated drivers etc)
These are not impact rated so don't use them in an 18v impact driver

The Nano is better for a keep in your car IMHO. I can remove the enitre car interior including the 14mm hex head bolts on the seats.
Why would you want to do that? Had to remove the smelly mud soaked carpet after getting the ute bogged

Found one of these thrown out at junk week - well worth the $0 I paid for it.

But also probably worth the $39.35 here too.

Rummaging through peoples junk piles, take your ozb award.

        OzBargain is for chumps ;)

But seriously, I find so much street bounty just walking the dog. Barely have to rummage. Haven't bought a broom or mop in years. Nor potting mix. Scored a free lawn mower, pressure washer, hose reel, shade umbrella, and covered my entire patio in high quality astroturf… people throw out a whole lot of perfectly good stuff.

I think that was a yard sale ,
they just turned their back for a second .

  • i grabbed this bosch one from ebay instead
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/385654438655

    $28.75 ($33.75 with an extra $5 off using DEALS20)

you get less pieces than the amazon one but the bosch one looks prettier

  • $62 at Bunnings. $75 at others. Good find.

  • Can’t believe I’ve had mine for 10 years now!

Fantastic little set, kept in the boot of my car and has been extremely handy

$5-$15 cheap set from bunnings/repco/SCA is same thing too btw

    • No, the cheaper sets are made from carbon steel and chrome plated.
They will rust if you leave them in the shed or your car.
They are actually good value and worth it, if you have one job to do that needs a socket set. But don't expect them to last.

      • I have had zero rust issues with the $5-$10 socket kit I bought from Repco and Bunnings about 3 yrs ago. Been left in shed btw

Both are fully working just as Good as day 1 for me

  • Had this same set for 10 years now, can't complain
    Bahco is owned by Snapon

  • Any idea where this set is made? I want to order it but I don't buy tools made in china.

Some of the reviews say China

      • Thanks.

        That's a pity - for me anyway.

All Bahco socket sets are 100% now made in China. The kits from only a few years ago were made in Taiwan and much better quality. Last year I bought and returned a big Bahco socket set after realising the drop in quality. Found a small local tool shop that was selling old stock tho so you might have luck trying that.

  • Its showing up at 54.14$ for me. Deal over?
