Casio G-Shock GM5600CL-3D $199 (OOS), GM110CL-6A/GM110G-1A9 $259 Delivered @ Starbuy

370

A posse of G-Shocks on special today at Starbuy. I'm kinda digging the square green case, which is at least $100 less than the next cheapest listing I could find. These are all 'metal-clad' to give them their metallic look, but at least they have mineral glass.

Edit: sadly, the fun's over on the green & gold as it's gone out of stock already. The other two models are still available, though.

Gshock colour combos other than the boring safe ones like black or white can be so hit and miss most of the times - but gosh darn if these listed arent all winners. The gold green especially - mwah. Chefs kiss.

      Very Australian 🇦🇺

Agreed. I saw a similar model at Wallace Bishop with red & gold that briefly piqued my interest, but I do agree this green & gold is growing on me fast. Proper Aussie colours!

      • Giving me Loki vibes 😅

    Jeez, that looks horrible!

    • +5

Yeah, you couldn't pay me to wear this

    • +1

Yes, but a deer hunter might like it!

    • Agreed.

      And it's selling for $199??! Lol….

The green and gold looks okay, but the Gold and the Purple are horrendous.

      • haha. I thought the same thing… involuntarily made a kind of ugghh sound.

  • +3

bit gaudy for me. looks like a Rolex box

  • This is where some OzB will come in and say that looks is all subjective…

    • +1

      Looks is all subjective.

    • +5

You should always buy what you like because you're the one who'll be wearing it.

      • +4

And most people really don't care what watch you are wearing.

        • +2

True, I organised weekend hangout with my watch friend as soon as I got myself a new watch (so it can get some compliments lol)

    • Looks is all subjective.

    • I think it’s fair to describe this colourway as ‘polarising’…

    • i mean..it is subjective?

  • +2

Well, green & gold is OOS already so there must've been a fair few punters who liked the CW.

  • I must be missing something?

    • +8

you're missing the green and gold, it's sold out now ;p

  • The dial green is way brighter than it appears in photos, don't think anyone could pull that off tastefully.

I need one of these for a work fancy dress party. I'm going as Ray Gun.

  • Just needs an old school Legend of Zelda logo

  • +1

Who would have thought such an ugly watch would be so expensive.

  • Just need to add some red to make it a GUCCI collab, then it can be $1,999 and still a bargain.
