    18G, what a funny thing.

I got my M1 MBP 14 16/1tb for $2539 direct from Apple Refurbished around Xmas

looks and works like brand new, just a diff box

    M1 Pro MBP 14 16/512 were $2299

$3200 is a bit much for such storage and very, very similar performance - the only reason to go M3 is ray tracing for 3d rendering, the rest performance is p.much the same

I recommend waiting for apple to drop another MBP refurbished batch (M1 Pro or M2 Pro), there was a service to notify when they become available, but I can't remember what it was

I use the 36GB 1TB version of this and it's excellent (upgraded from the last Intel based 16" MBP)

I'm using M2 Max with 32GB and it's amazing what you can put this thing through. Only regret is not finding any Max with 64GB instead, that'd mean twice as many tabs open before they start refreshing.

with Cashrewards 25% rebate(Everyday Market from Woolworths: 25% Cashback @ Cashrewards), should be better off deal?

    • Any limit on the cash back? Getting >1k cash back seems like something they’d try and stiff you over.

    • Their T&Cs don't mention any limit, however Shopback clearly mentions products over $1000 are excluded from their cashback policy

      • I was referred to Cashrewards. Does Cashrewards have a limit?

        • +1

Doesn’t say but I would go through TopCashback, buy it and then when your cashback has tracked, submit a highest cashback guarantee for the additional 1%

    $3049 via Emporium Electronics

    Possible price beat at OW

    • Yup, got 1tb version of this from OW for $3200, by showing them emporium deal. Went one OW and they refused saying this website is scam, went to JBhifi and they said this website doing gray imports, went to another OW and they agreed to price beat by 5%, which is 16% cheaper thab OW and JBhifi current MBP price

  • this should be cheaper considering the new M4 macbooks are coming november 2024 or october but it will be close.
