Citizen Promaster CB5034-91W - Eco-Drive, Sapphire, Radio Controlled $499 Delivered @ Starbuy

130

Is your Speedtimer getting lonely? Is an Astron a little beyond your reach? Want to pretend you're a real jet-setter who skylarks about through multiple time zones? Do you live in the small number of countries where the atomic clock signal can actually be received? If you said 'YES' to any of the above then this is the watch for you!

Full specs (shamelessly stolen from rosebank's earlier post):

  • Calibre E660
  • Promaster Land
  • Chronograph
  • Eco-Drive
  • Stainless Steel Case and Bracelet
  • 44.6mm Case Size
  • Sapphire Crystal
  • 200 Meters Water Resistant
  • 5 Year Citizen Warranty

It's been cheaper before, but that was two years ago and I'm guessing this is a reflection of the same prices rises we've seen across the board recently.

Remember, Friday's Stardeal pricing is good till Monday 10:00am or until sold out (20+ available at time of posting).

  • She is a big BOI!

  • Love the colour.

  • Jacob somewhere in the distance: how about coutura?

  • shame that radio is very sparse in Australia. such a great idea and much cheaper than the GPS watches

  • +4

Please note that the radio-controlled functionality of the CB5034-91W will not work in Australia due to the absence of radio transmitting stations within range. These stations are exclusive to four regions: Europe, USA, China and Japan.

    Well then, that sucks

    • Grrrrr, that makes me so angry! How are we supposed to live like this?

    • Just use the app.

      • What's the app?

Any of these will simulate the required radio signal from your smartphone and allow a nearby radio-controlled watch to pick it up and synchronise automatically:

        • +1

JJY Simulator is another one that I've used before.

A good tip for any of these is to turn your phone's volume up to max and put it with your watch inside a plastic storage container with the lid on (isolates outside noise interference). Ensure you point your watch's reception antenna at the phone speaker - from memory the antenna on Citizen watches is at 9 o'clock, whereas my Casio is at 12 o'clock.

  • Good old inflation, used to be $399 quite often
