There's your first problem….the radio control part doesn't work here.
When previously posted someone said there was a workaround for Aus. But it does sound like bit of a faff.
[Update] - here you go:

Yes it does, it you use the Japanese transmitters, are in Queensland (no time changes throughout the year), and set the time zone to Tokyo DST (to add an hour).
I do this on a Casio waveceptor.
I remember back in the day when citizen watches were worth like 100 to 200 bucks. 400 bucks now wow. its been like 20 years since I bought a citizen watch though lol.
In the early 1990's, I used to collect Kinder surprise and would buy for the equivalent to $0.30 each (local currency, different country). Now it's more than $2 (in Australia)… (I checked and it's $4 each (20g) in that same country… damn!)
If your watch was worth "100 to 200 bucks" twenty years ago, it'd cost close to $2,000 today, if it followed Kinder Surprise trend…
Next time, invest on Kinder Surprise (*ignoring the fact that we eat chocolate, but not the watch).
nice watch but prefer black or blue rather than green in such a busy watch …..
For those who ends up getting this and wants to give the radio function a try: I own the blue version and was able to work around the lack of radio reception here in Aus by using the jjyemulator app for Android and pointing the phone's speaker next to the 4'oclock position of the watch in a quiet room. It might take around 12 mins to complete syncing.
Here's a vid link demonstrating the app - https://youtu.be/XvHwKDAAoy8
*Note: the headphone method didn't work for me but simply pointing the mobile speaker at 4'oclock did.Hope this helps some :)
Here's a vid recording I took of syncing the blue version of this watch with the app - https://imgur.com/a/IRFnWIo
Nice watch at a great price.
Looking for a deal on a smaller dive watch like the Seiko Prospex SNE573P hopefully in the future.
google cache shows starbuy usually sells it for $599 https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:XasVfY…
