Hopefully Cafe Choice includes the variable again! Ty OP
    Edit:

For Cafe Choice Variable Gift Cards (where you choose the amount to load), limit of 2 cards per day per Rewards Member.

    🤩

  • Is that means for cafe choice $100 I can have 10 cards per day?

This week restaurant card is 2 cards per day no matter which domination you choose.

  • Would Cafe choice work on skip?

Trying to figure out my locals MCC…

    Fortune Tellers (MCC 7996)

Who knew fortune tellers were popular enough to be highlighted on the merchant codes list

    • I can tell the fortune of anyone who visits a fortune teller….they will get poorer :)

  • Does any know if we getting TCN (Active, Kids, Him) or Ultimate gift card (Active and Wellness, Him) gift card on sale anytime soon? Or a sale on eftpos gift card was looking for a 99 bikes gift card. Thank you.

    • Have you already checked the OzBargain product tags for TCN gift cards or Ultimate gift cards? If you do that, you will see for Ultimate gift cards there are two deals that may be of interest:

      • Thank you. Yes i have seen those, was looking more into variables to load bigger amount if something coming up for those. As not sure if there is a card limit when using this at 99 bikes. not sure if $50x30 or $100x15 would be good :D and also i think there is a limit on how many gift card you can purchase in a day at coles, woolworths, aldi isn't it Wookie. Thank you :) I also usually shop on Woolworths as it is nearby.

        • Someone once used 53 TCN/Ultimate gift cards in one in-store transaction at 99 Bikes, so you will probably be fine if you turn up with 45 gift cards. Hopefully the store knows how to do split payments!

I am not aware of any deals on variable load gift cards (other than the deals you can get everyday through gift card portals, e.g. HCF Thank You).

You are right in saying that there are gift card purchase limits at Coles, Woolworths and ALDI, but:

          • At Coles, the only hard limit is the 30,000 Flybuys points for the current deal. You may have seen talk of stores limiting you to 5 gift cards per day, but that is based on the signs you see at Coles’ gift card shelves (as well as the fact that a checkout will not let you purchase more than 5 gift cards per transaction). If you can use a different checkout at the same store (and not have staff notice) or go to a different Coles store, you can purchase more than 5 gift cards per day.

          • At Woolworths, there is usually a hard-limit on the number of gift cards you can purchase and earn points per day.

          • At ALDI, they only say a limit of 5 gift cards per customer, and I suspect you can only purchase a maximum of 5 gift cards per transaction. However, if staff let you purchase more than 5 gift cards across multiple transactions (or you go to multiple ALDI stores), you can get around that limit.

      • when do you think 10-15% off on eftpos, visa gift card will come. Thank you.

        • No idea. I have no idea whether those deals are now history, particularly since there should have been a 10% off Vanilla Visa gift card deal at Coles in VIC and TAS this week (but evidently that is not the case).

          • @WookieMonster: Yes even if they do come it will be flying off the shelf or not stock

  • Can anyone explain to me how these work for WebJet and if there is a limit (and what deneminations are usually available). I have access to Rewards Gateway through my work so can get 5% off Webjet cards there but I think a max of $5K a month. I thought I could use this offer in conjuction with that (buying 4 x UK return flights).

@WookieMonster - any help would be much appreciated

    • I have no idea how gift cards work on Webjet, so I unfortunately cannot help you.

Is it just me or is this not in the VIC catalogue?

    • +3

It's not in any catalogue. It'll just be advertised via the in-store posters this week.

      • Please let me know if you have an update regarding the next week gift card promotion on coles, woolworths. I am looking for TCN (Active, Kids, Him) or Ultimate gift card (Active and Wellness, Him) gift card on sale if variable even better. Aldi has Ultimate him but online has $50. Thanks VantageXL and Thanks guys.

        • I suggest you keep an eye on their Gift Card History page, as that is where @VantageXL posts information on upcoming Coles and Woolworths promotions. I am not sure how quickly they post information to their website, but they usually have information on upcoming Coles and Woolworths promotions by Saturdays (assuming their sources provide the information).

  • Anyone with a clearer picture? Like to keep a copy incase there is any issues with points. Normally I keep a copy of the catalogue but it’s not advertised in the new catalogue.

  • +2

Bought Cafe Choice $500 in VIC. Bonus points given instantly.

    • Same here with 5 x $500 Webjet cards. Points were added instantly. Now have to go back first thing tomorrow to try for 5 more!

  • anyone has issue with checking the card balance ? I tried mybalance and cardbalance websites and both of them are giving error message.

    • What card are you checking? I note Webjet state this:

Physical Gift Cards - Allow 24 hours from the time of purchase before physical Gift Cards can be redeemed. For security reasons, a maximum 24 hour activation period applies to Webjet Gift Cards purchased in-store. The fixed delay allows a fraud security check to take place, and is unable to be changed.
Please allow for the activation period if buying a Webjet Gift Card prior to booking at webjet.com.au.

May be something similar if another card?

      • It's Cafe Choice.

        • Yes I think similar then. Buried in the T&C here https://www.cafechoicegiftcard.com.au/terms-conditions/ is this clause:

Your Card will be activated within 24 hours from when it is purchased.

        • I was getting an error on my previously purchased Restaurant card as well so I think the problem is with their system and not the cards we bought today.

  • Looks like this one didn't publish onto their online catalogue so far, just like the Ultimate cards by Coles on last week.

  • Hi Guys, Please let me know if you have an update regarding the next week gift card promotion on coles, woolworths. Hopefully they don't do apple gift card next week :D .
I am looking for TCN (Active, Kids, Him) or Ultimate gift card (Active and Wellness, Him) gift card on sale if variable even better. Aldi has Ultimate him but online has $50. Thank guys.

    • Hi there! Next week's promotion at Woolworths is 10x Everyday Rewards points on TCN Luxury Eftpos gift cards, 20x points on Rebel, BCF and Supercheap Auto gift cards.

  • This has been a great promo for me. I have done a Woolies raid for the last 3 mornings and got $7,500 worth of Webjet gift cards (3 x $2,500 daily limit) which gived me a saving of $750 (as Woolies rewards). Will get a few more tomorrow - stock has not been an issue.

  • I’ve never heard of Cafe Choice. Are the merchants in the MC codes the only ones I can use or is it all over Australia if they accept prepaid Visa?

    • +1

Café Choice gift cards have only been around for a year, and are essentially Restaurant Choice gift cards with different branding.

You can only use Café Choice gift cards (and Restaurant Choice gift cards) at merchants across Australia using one of the MCCs listed in the table above, as long as the merchant choose to accept prepaid Visa gift cards as a payment method.

  • Has anyone had an issue adding cafe choice card to apple wallet and getting error message invalid card? Is there a work around to fix the issue?
