        Disagree. Sumatra is a very nice bean, my friend uses Aldi, it's fine but Sumatra is my personal choice.

          The Sumatra I got from them was totally “overcooked” and extremely hard to dial in on a Breville Barista Impress. I wasn't impressed!

    I always get Sumatra because the missus likes milk coffees and this does pretty well as an espresso but is there another blend you would recommend more for black coffee?

    Just about to run out of beans and local Aldi had bad dates this time around so skipped them - got lucky last time with roast date of 6 days.

    Local roasters want $45-60 a kg so giving this a go for the first time. Shame deal wasn't run earlier in the week so I could get them before the weekend!

    to all the newbies like breville boy this is a medium to light roast
    the ratio is 2.5 to 1 eg 18 grams in to 45 grams out.under extracted
    it will taste sour.AIRJO sumatra blend is pretty good in my humble
    opinion

    very nice blend compared to the compatitors posting deals here (tried few and by far this blend has the best flavours). I'm wondering what other blend should i consider next, Got a Jura machine and my coffee is based on a strong shot with 35ml of water. Dan what do you suggest!
    Another question, do you offer any small bags for taste testing to workout which blend we should stick with for long term.

    Are you able to provide more context around pest/herb & insecticides usage?

    I note you have no organic produce.

    Reason I ask is that coffee beans are heavily sprayed historically.

      Just having a guess… But the coffee beans are so far inside the fruit that has the spray on it it would be unlikely for have any pesticide/ herbicides get onto/into the bean.

        Coffee beans are heavily sprayed produce. One of the heaviest globally. Many pesticides can permeate the fruit.

        Limiting such exposure, when possible, is an important consideration for produce I consume.
