With all the orders they will be getting there will be no time for them to do all the phone verification checks.
I did ordered from 2 different restaurant for pick up using the same account, phone number and credit card. However, I haven't received any SMS confirmation from them. The orders are for pick up later in the afternoon though (per-order).
I think you get the SMS confirmation when the restaurant receives your order, will will be around 5pm for most places, but you should receive an email confirmation from menulog confirming your order.

I haven't received any confirmation, but just had my take away. Just double check with the restaurant because out two restaurants, one had the confirmation from menulog, but the other didn't.

Yes, they do send email confirmation instantly, but still check with the restaurant.

Just checked my credit card transactions - all 3 are ok. Ive ordered twice at the same restaurant. I hope it goes ok at pickup :)
As mentioned before, I ordered something for $8.50 and applied code = $0.00
But I selected card payment instead of cash, so they charged my card $1. I'm sure they will refund this / reverse the charge later. If not, you can always call them and get this refunded.
If you select cash, maybe when you pick up there is nothing to pay?

EDIT: You cannot pay by cash using a voucher. You have to select card. I am using AMEX so maybe with Mastercard or Visa there is no surcharge?

Yes, when it asked for Card or Cash, I selected card. It shows $0.00 as amount so I thought i would not be charged but they still charged me $1 as they have my card details on the system.. Oh well, not too fussed as this is a GREAT DEAL!!! :)

I ordered earlier to pickup.. When I went there, they said no order been received. I did get email confirmation once I paid the remaining amount. No SMS confirmation and the restaurant says no order received. Called Menulog too, no response….What do I do now?

Only works for delivery orders so basically it's free delivery only. By the looks of things not many restaurants who do delivery to my area are participating lol.

Good god! Just got a call from India (0011918066995057) to confirm my Pad Thai order for tonight at 6:30pm was correct as I placed the order yesterday? Bizarre call but she was nice enough… Didn't seem to know about the coupon code… Just referred to the meal costing $14.50 (full price)…
