45cm SATA Cables $1 Each Plus $1 Flat Rate Posting

20

I did one of these a while ago and still have some left in stock. I am actually starting to import more types of cables and will post a deal every now and then with a listing of what I have. No fear of spam. Before all the haters get here, yes Meritline sometimes has something cheaper but this is still a good deal for these cables.

Postage is a flat $1. No matter how many you order.

Future cables I will have will HDMI, USB, HDMI converters and such. I am slowly building the business and will have a website sorted at some stage when my stock starts to come in.

If there's a particular cable type you want, let me know and if there's enough demand, I'll look at stocking them :-)

If this post is entirely inappropriate, mods please let me know. The core of it is that it's a good deal for the cables :-)

How do I get flat shipping, on checkout it's still charging me $1 each, thank you.

    • I totally screwed that up. Someone bought them and it charged shipping on each one. I refunded the difference. My apologies if that was you but the funds should be back in your Paypal now.

  • Good deal compared to the other Aussie sellers. Of course China sellers sell them for $1+FREE POST, but shipping can take up to 3-4 weeks. I'm assuming you're sending these from Australia?

    • Yeah, all local stock. All the orders I received today have already been posted.

  • Those of you who have sata 3 drives and compatible mobos beware these are only Sata 2

    • There is only one standard for these cables.

The only thing that differentiates SATA 2 and SATA 3 cables is 1 character. Electrically they are identical.

Here is what the SATA-IO organisation that specifies the Sata revisions says about cables in its FAQs

      http://www.sata-io.org/documents/SATA-Revision-3.0-FAQ-FINAL…

Q9: Does SATA 6Gb/s require different connectors and cables to support the higher transfer speed?

A9: The same cables and connectors used for current SATA 1.5 and SATA 3.0 Gb/s implementations can be used to connect SATA 6Gb/s devices, although SATA-IO recommends quality components be selected to ensure data integrity and robust operation at the faster SATA 6Gb/s transfer rate. Keeping the existing SATA connector form factor enables SATA 6Gb/s to be designed into the same cost-conscious hardware architectures while minimizing infrastructure changes.

      • That's really interesting, cheers for that.

  • OK, those went darned quick. I have more stock coming in soon of several different cable types and will let you know.

If anyone wants to be notified, send me a message with your email (if you can on here) or send me a message on ebay and I will let you know as soon as new stock arrives.
