  • Thoughts on igpu?

    • 680m vs 780m 0n Ryzen 7 7840hs

      • 780m will be bottlenecked by the 4800mhz ram in this thing. It's only 10% faster at 6400mhz, so I imagine the 680m is close to the limit that this device can run.

    • Pretty good. Basically a gt 1050.

  • l would have bought if it was the Ryzen7 7840HS

  • +2
    • But does this item have better graphics processing than the Minisforum?

      • +2

It will be the same 680m gpu you can tell by the 3rd number in the cpu 7735 is 3rd gen 680m and 7840 is 4th gen so 780m.

        • Thank you, I didn't know that.

  • Remember with Ryzen it's the third digit that's key, so this is Zen 3 architecture.

  • How does it compare to this? And only $679

    • Similar specs, but don't know the brand.

  • Have similar and I love it.

  • Wife asked the ultimate question: can it run Genshin Impact?

  • Is minisforum or beelink better than geekom in support and quality? Read pretty shit reviews about geekom.

  • Hmm seems like a decent deal for such a powerful system. You could hardly DIY build an ITX machine for this price, including case?

  • +1

Bought one of these as a router and the nics have crazy latency. It's jumps anywhere from 1ms to 30ms to same subnet (less than 1m) using gigabit cat6 cables.

Even put Debian on there and compiled the nic drivers using arch optimisations and the issue still persists.

  • This would be a perfect device if it can be powered by USBC

This Minisforum has the same specs except 1TB SSD instead of 512GB, an extra USB C port and $20 cheaper:
