          •when did this happen “this year?”
          •Was it physical or digital TCN?
          •was the staff serving you aware you were paying with TCN GC?

          Yes while it is outlined in JB’s GC policy, the actual system may still actually allow you given the staff serving you allows it to happen, knowingly or unknowingly, but that is a risk & gamble you gotta be willing to take. I have personally tried it myself on multiple occasions and that was my consensus so is @WookieMonster ‘s advisement, but glad it worked out for you.

      You can purchase the TCN Gift gift card digitally, but not through this deal. The TCN Gift gift cards in this deal are only available in a physical form.

      The answer from @noelhoi re: buying gift cards using TCN / Ultimate / JB Hi-Fi gift cards is correct. This is something outlined in the JB Hi-Fi gift card policy.

      In regards to your other question, if you look at the FAQ linked at the bottom of the deal description, it tells you the number of TCN gift cards you can use in-store or online in one transaction at JB Hi-Fi.

      The TCN Good Food gift card in this deal runs on the eftpos network (and all physical TCN Good Food gift cards I have seen only run on the eftpos netweok).

      I am not aware of any way to convert a physical TCN Good Food gift card into a digital TCN Good Food gift card (which runs on the Mastercard network).

      You can do that for TCN Restaurant gift cards, but those are a separate type of gift card.

      I am fairly sure the TCN Gift variable is not sold at Woolworths (and does not actually exist in a physical form anywhere).

          Apologies, I left out a very important bit of information in my prior comment.

          The limit you quoted means you can only purchase a maximum of 2x $100 TCN Gift gift cards per Everyday Rewards account per day during this deal.

          For any other denominations of the TCN Gift gift card sold at Woolworths (which should only be $30 and $50), you can purchase up to 10x TCN Gift gift cards per Everyday Rewards account per day. If the TCN Gift variable load denomination exists and is sold at Woolworths (which I doubt, because I have never seen one sold at Woolworths or Coles or anywhere else), the deal terms say you can purchase up to 10x per Everyday Rewards account per day.

          It depends.

          If you look at the FAQ linked at the bottom of the deal description, it contains the answer for in-store and online transactions. That is a very frequently asked question here, which is part of the reason why I wrote the FAQ page!

            @WookieMonster: Managed to get 4x100 TCN GIFT using 2 different reward accounts and then another 12x50 TCN GIFT using same reward accounts from a different woolies and then bought something from JB. Saved $100. Thanks again :)

    Stocked up on Uber gift cards at Big W this week. Possibly slightly unethical hack for dealing with when there are no gift cards on the shelf. There were no Uber gift cards on the shelf at Big W (I guess they had sold out). I went next door to the Woolworths and pocketed some unactivated variable load Uber gift cards. Returned to Big W and bought them from Big W.

      Correct.

      The only exception to this is if you scan 5x $100 TCN Gift gift cards in one transaction (or on the same day) and scan the same Everyday Rewards card, because the checkout should only apply the 10% discount to a maximum of 2x $100 TCN Gift gift cards per Everyday Rewards account per day.

      If this deal is anything like past deals, you will not see the 10% discount applied to the gift cards until you (or the checkout assistant) press Pay Now on the checkout screen.

          If the barcode on your Everyday Rewards card is different to the one your Mrs has on her Everyday Rewards card, it means you have separate accounts and therefore can purchase 2x $100 TCN Gift gift cards each day on each Everyday Rewards card.

          Flybuys is the weird one, as that allows multiple cardholders on the same account.

      Why are you looking at the link on the Woolworths Group gift card website?

      The terms and conditions of the TCN Active gift card says the full list of participating retailers is on The Card Network website.

      2. This Card is an eftpos prepaid gift card that can be used for electronic transactions, to purchase goods and services at participating retailers listed on The Card Network website.

      If you look at the TCN Active gift card webpage on the TCN website, the logo for 99 Bikes is there.

      The link you provided earlier is only for a reseller of the TCN Active gift card, and they probably will not keep their participating retailers as up-to-date as TCN does on their own website.

      I do not highlight/bold Shein, because:

      • No one has ever asked me about gift cards that work with Shein.

      • I do not remember seeing that many popular deals on OzBargain for Shein.

      • Shein is not one of the retailers typically brought up in OzBargain comments.

    For anyone interested, TCN added new participating retailers to the TCN Active and TCN Gift gift cards earlier today:

    • Active: ASOS, Cotton On
    • Gift: 'Supré

    If you have already bought a TCN Active or TCN Gift gift card (whether it was earlier today or before today), it now includes those participating retailers.

      The Good Food gift card in this deal runs on the eftpos network and does not support online transactions or in-app transactions. Someone also reported at the start of 2024 it did not work in-store at Maccas.

      Even if you had the digital Mastercard version of the Good Food gift card, the last reports I saw (from 2023) said it does not work at merchants using MCC 5814 (Fast Food Restaurants).

    I keep forgetting how to add the Good Food Card to TCN app, which i can then use to check balance and add to Google Wallet.

    I've registered the card on the website but didn't get my SMS with the app code. :-(

      You can add digital Mastercard version of the TCN Good Food gift card to the TCN app.

      However, the TCN Good Food gift card in this deal is the physical eftpos version, and the Good Food website does not mention anything about being able to exchange the physical eftpos version for the digital Mastercard version. (I mentioned this in a separate comment a few days ago.)

      I only know of four physical TCN gift cards that can be exchanged for a digital Mastercard version that can be added to the TCN app, and you do it on https://choice.gift:

      It is per account not per person so if 2 people are on your account you have to adhere to the limit for each account. You need to open a new account for one of you.
