Unfortunately when the roaming services are off, regardless being iPhone or Android flagships you lose connection when entering Aus.

My experience was that 2-wk period doesn't exist as roaming services are almost down. It has to be a local model with local sim.

Lyca itself is fine, but porting into Lyca is almost impossible. Only reason to choose Lyca is just for the data and cashback.

You could convert it to esim immediately after being tracked. As long as the physical sim card is activated.
