This one is nicer but I'm not sure it's worth twice the price of this ORICO: ORICO M.2 NVMe & SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter Tool-Free - $16.49 + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $59 Spend) @ ORICO G.O.A.T Amazon AU. Blue and pink are still available, and the USB-C to A cable versions are $19.99.

    • It’ll be the exact same chip inside so no, not worth double.

  • Store4PC-AU does not provide Tax invoices.

    • Why do you need the tax invoice from them? Amazon provides it

      • +1

Amazon does not provide tax invoices for items by third-party sellers even if they handle the delivery.

        • Interesting. So it is

@ironworthy: You'd think in 2024 it'd be possible for Amazon to require sellers to automatically generate and send out invoices for purchases!

            • @eug: Would have thought the law would require them

              • @ironworthy: They only have to provide one if a customer asks. It does read like a business does not have to provide one at all if the sale is for $82.50 or less which is unexpected.

  • Not compatible with 2230?

  • Noob q, but would internal nvme drive be quicker as internal drive connected in the motherboard rather than connected by usb port?

    • +1

Almost certainly unless your computer is really old

      • Thanks, just curious how much quicker?

        • Depends on the drive and board, however it's my understanding that even if you were using only a PCIE 3 board and a reduced bandwidth slot at x4 lanes, the max speed of that slot would be about 4 times faster than this.
