So now we're posting deals on 8 year old movies?

Ozb is a joke now. So many lame "deals" and free app deald. Pathetic karma farming deals latley.

IMO streamed movies should never be posted as deals as most require subscription anyway better to put in forums… Seems like alot of people are now focusing on quantity over quality of deals…

Yep. Certain users spam rubbish deals constantly to get their count up.

The worst are those who always post mobile apps that are on special for “free” without any consideration of the quality (or safety) of the app eg. QR Code readers or scanning apps when mobiles have this functionality built in.

My theory is their aim is to get their “reputation” up so they can then start secretly getting paid by companies to post their crappy deals.

Can we just merge all of these into a single 'thread' that links to: Just Watch…

Though I've been WoW clean for 10 years, I'm still interested in watching this, thanks for the post!

If I went and rented a car from a dealer I wouldn't be posting about the new Mitsubishi that they've added to their collection.

The most charitable take on these sub posts is that it's nice to know when a movie is out of cinemas and added to a streaming platform, which doesn't even apply here as it's an old movie from 2016.

It's not an exclusive, you can watch it on foxtel or binge, or rent it from the google play store.

Struggling to see the value here.

Struggling to see the value here.

The value is clicks and ad revenue for OzBargain. But this is short sighted as people will eventually get jack of the lack of real deals and just stop visiting the site at all.

I’m sure the response will be ‘SUBS can be hidden’. Except:
      1) Often these are posted originally without the right tag and aren’t hidden.
      2) This doesn’t hide it from the RSS feed.
      3) Most importantly, no way for non-members to hide these deals (who I imagine would account for a large amount of the ad revenue keeping the site running)

Still think these posts belong in the forums.

  • I have this movie on 1080p Blu-Ray - looks and sounds great! It was one of the first movies to implement ATMOS soundtracks.

How tf is this a deal, a bad 8-year-old movie is on a subscription service you have to pay for, amazing deal.

    • -1

Because mods keep allowing this nonsense and like any ignored problem, it just gets worse.

It started with new release movies, then it turned into sports that are airing on FTA and now it’s just any random movie/tv show/game someone likes that happens to be on a streaming service.

      • I think new release movies should be allowed, like when Inside Out 2 comes to disney+, but not just random movies lol.

        • +1

Hundreds of movies and shows get added to streaming services monthly. Who decides what is and isn’t worthy of being posted?

  • +2

Wasn't a bad movie. I wish they continued the storyline to the Warcraft 3 era.

  • Garona is a hottie.

  • +1

Not a deal, movie is coming close to a decade old

  • +2

This isn't a "deal". This isn't even technically an "addition to streaming service" This is PART of the basic streaming service package provided by Amazon. There is no value or saving to be had here, this is at its core the BASE value you get from subscribing to Amazon Prime Video.
This category really does belong in forums if this is what it is being used for.

Very disappointing that they never brought out a sequel to this.

  • +2

Not a deal, just part of an existing paid subscription service.

  • +1

    It's not a deal

    They took my jerbs ..

  • This is not a bargain. Please vote down this garbage. Don't really care if you down vote my post. As long as these NON bargains are voted down
