All flavours are naturally sweetened. Category **Description **
STRAIGHT Unflavoured and optimised for macronutrients (90% protein). Due to omitting flavours and any sweetener, this is just straight WPI from the manufacturer (less than 1% sunflower lecithin added at the point of manufacture). Use in cookies, smoothies etc. Or if you just want the best macros and don't care for taste!
CORE These flavours have between 75-87% protein. They will also be low in fat (0.3-0.8g/serve) and also low in carbs (1-3.7g/serve). As a general guide, suitable if you have strict dietary restrictions and want to keep the carbs/fat down, but want something more exciting than unflavoured.
INDULGE These flavours will have 64-68% protein with a higher serving size. Notably, carbs will be a bit higher in these flavours (6.8-9.9g/serve) and the cookie flavours will have around 1g extra fat/serve - which contributes to an extra 20-30 calories per serve. This extra latitude with macros and ingredients allows us to elevate the flavour to be what we consider amazing, while not being a complete cheat meal. Given the popularity of Aussie Choc Malt, we're experimenting with a few others in this category and have recently released our two new cookie flavours.

In almost all of our prior WPI deals, I have been asked how our WPI compares to two other very popular products on OzBargain that we sell (Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Whey and Musashi 100% Whey).

Whey Protein Prices in 2024

Whey pricing is something I have been making mention of in our prior posts, more as a heads up about a possible increase in retail prices. Anyway, we have now seen this transpire across several brands.

In summary, prices have gone up at the supplier level over nine months ago and we have now seen price increases across the board. We did raise our prices in July as a result of this.

Full transparency; this deal has also increased because we can no longer sustain the lower price point. It’s up by $2.50/kg (for 4kg, same credit) and we have kept the optional 5th kg at the same price but with reduced credit. This is the first price increase we’ve had on these deals since the end of 2022. Despite this, I do hope that this continues to represent great value.

    Might be a silly question but is 1 full scoop of the protein powder = 1 per serving in the packaging?

    I've been so used to taking pres which use more water and discovered that sticking to the 250ml of water goes a long way. Adding more makes it so watery and kind of eliminates the flavouring to me!

    Hi @aminozcomau I just noticed that the Vanilla WPI texture has changed, it is more powdery than the last one, it is also less thick when mixed with water. I liked the old one better.

      That would be double dipping; would be difficult for a business to continue giving us great deals if they did that.

      Besides, the promotional cash back is worth more than the points that would have been earned if it wasn't a promotion.

        I am not suggesting that they should or shouldn't do it.

        I am trying to ascertain information which for me isn't clear. The wording on the deal is "+$55 Credit" and without any terms and conditions on the contrary, i am not making an assumption that this means you don't earn points per dollar spent as usual and instead will receive this much in credit.

      @Chivalry thanks for asking and yes to confirm, the bonus amount advertised is the total amount you will receive, it won't stack on top of our usual points (which will be 1% usually, or 3% for Club Z).

      I hope this clarifies and thank you for highlighting. In subsequent deals I'll ensure that this is made clearer to avoid any ambiguity.

      We don't yet have anything confirmed for our next deal and because of this, I cannot commit to any specific dates just yet I'm afraid. We almost certainly won't be launching a new deal this month, in case this helps.

        Aussie choc malt and chai latte both have extreme amounts of sweetness. Maybe offer unsweetened flavours or very very low sweetner

I cracked open a bag ordered in Feb 2024 and I get the runs every single time I have it (doesn't happen with any other flavours, all other ingredients to my shake are the same) 😓

    Vanilla Ice Cream Casein is the best freaking thing in the ninja creami, I make double serves with 400ml skim milk to help reduce prep and clean up, eating half each night, really hits the taste buds and helps keep the hunger away when im in a calorie deficit.

    Brazilian Choc goes well too, yet to try this with the Matcha I've got at home, do you have any new Casein flavours in the works?
