The next AliExpress sale is kicking off August 19 at 5pm AEST and this time we have a set of OzBargain exclusive coupon codes (as well as regular codes) with a much better discount than previous deals. These codes should apply on pretty much anything, as long as the minimum spend is met and your AliExpress currency is set to AUD.

As usual the coupons have a limited number of redemptions with the larger discounts often going first. Now is a good time to get your cart loaded and ready.

If you want to be notified of future AliExpress coupon deals you can subscribe to the "AliExpress Sale" tag here.

Important: Coupons are 1 per account, do not stack with the new user 'Welcome Deal", "Daily Deals (Super Deals)" and minimum spend excludes GST and shipping.

      • Just purchased a CPU and it worked, thanks @Clear.

Edit: haha the price went up by $27 a few minutes later - just as well I followed your advice and had it in my cart ready to go!

  • +1

    Nice timing, thanks OP šŸ˜Š

  • Funny stuff i've been sourcing on Aliexpress for few weeks now mainly the new AMD Ryzen 7000 series cpus mainly the 7500f and 7700 cpus, prices have all of a sudden have gone up, ok our Aussie dollar went down 2 weeks back but the last few days has bounced back up, anyway see what happens in 4 days during this sale

    • remind you of another certain company started with e and ending with bay

  • I have never used Aliexpress before.
The Hong Kongese brand dash cam VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH is suspiciously cheap on there, despite being sold by "the VIOFO Official Store" opened since 2018. It is priced at AUD$289.64 ($259.64 after the coupon code of this thread), compared to AUD$449.99 at the OZ official store and AUD$409.99 at the US official store, all with free shipping.

Is this a legitimate bargain? Or did I miss any caveat?
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

    • Reading the actual store reviews which mind you only has under 5% bad ratings and those consist of your usual item hasn't arrived, poor product etc though one review states scam scam scam don't buy from this selle, maybe item never arrived to this buyer and got really pissed off important part is how many sales this store has done for there over 95% positive rating (cant find) but looks like in the 100's or more as there rating section states up to 600 ratings, so to me the seller is legit, I usually check and go by if the sale offers refunds or better free returns, though my 3 bad purchases refunds were a headach well actually ended up costing me more then the effort was worth, but overall was a very small portion of all my purcheses from Aliexpress why i still use them as ive saved 100's of dollars overall, cant beat some of the low prices Aliexpress offers

Nice dash cam actually, thanks too now tempted too buy one and that was sarcasm with the thanks lolz another device ill never end up installing for my vehicle, busy busy busy lol šŸ˜†

Edit: at that price I'm sure there still making a prohit, well for around that price isn't there dash cams that are 4k resolution as this ones 2k, with other better features well too me seems highly priced but I admit I'm no dash cam expert well I would need to research heavily about what's out there šŸ‘

Same brand 4k resolution, 3x channel, 5GHz version $407 so now other listing you mentioned seems reasonably priced for a 2k dash cam just past ones you came across now seem over priced unless they were 4k dash cams also?

      • Mate, you are a legend. I cannot thank you enough for putting so much effort into these comments.
The review tip to check the genuineness of a seller is beyond insightful.

I notice there are lots of cheaper brands out there with 4K. However, I was convinced by some YouTube comparison videos that a better sensor and lens produce better results than a higher resolution, especially since I only need it to catch the plate and the event instead of recording fun videos to share.

With this being said, the A139 pro has the latest 2nd generation of STARVIS compared to the REDTIGER F7N.
However, I am no expert on dash cam.

        • I'm considering buying a dashcam but I am worried since I park outdoors in direct sunlight that it will eventually destroy it. I'm wondering what others do during Aussie summer ?

          • @Slurped: Me and my mate ended up buying this one from Amazon REDTIGER 4K/2.5K 2CH, which now only costs $162.99 on sale.

Both our cars are worth less than $50K, and we agreed that we would buy something better if we drove an $80K car.

        • Umm 4K im sure is the best to capture number plates but also depends on distance of vehicle you want to capture number plates off, usually accidents the vehicles are close too each other so certainly a 2k is plenty for most situations then buy a 2k version with better features over 4k one, but maybe google best resolution dashcam too capture number plates also, but I'm sure 4k is the best as captures more pixels too zoom into over lower resolutions and im sure any dashcam say over $250 should be of high quality made, just the extra features then i'd look for from one to another 4k dashcam šŸ˜†

Edit: also too look into the battery type used, remember if your car is parked outside in the hot summer sun heat well one has to worry about these batteries maybe catching on fire, saying that haven't heard any stories on the news these webcams catching on fire but the heat can damage the battery if not designed for heat so read into what type of battery used and tolerances of highest temperatures battery can take, there are also capacitor type batteries dashcams out there

  • Does this stack with bundle deals. Thanks.

    • No

  • Looks like items are displaying their upcoming discount price (at least via mobile app)

  • Is it worth the risk buying an electric mower from this seller?

    • +1

AliExpress is a marketplace of different sellers and I wouldn't be risking large bulky purchases. Especially if the store has low feedback.

    • Wouldn't the high postage costs kill the discount? And works out cheaper buying in Oz?

  • Thanks Clear.

  • Any recommendations for a tablet < $400? Thinking some sort of Lenovo one, but not sure which to buy.

    • Looking for the same

  • Any recommendation on International Travel Adapters? Wondering if this particular make / model is good?

  • Anyone having issues with the promo codes? Its not accepting any. Tried on app and pc. Codes 1 & 2 doesn't work even for a low amount.

    • Used the OZAU60 code at 30 seconds past the start time and it worked ok. On PC.

    Codes not working for me

  • Would topcashback USA 15% cashback work?

Edit: tracked ok so fingers crossed!

    • Good luck, let us know how it goes.

  • I get this message:
"Sorry, these coupon codes have already been claimed. However, you can still enjoy other great deals on AliExpress"

  • I got the errors too but it worked after a couple of gos, and they're case sensitive too

  • Not working, 1 or 2.

  • Same not working, it's not even giving a reason why it's not accepting.

  • +1

I've set my currency to AUD on the desktop site and all the OZAU ones are working for me. Obviously I'm not hiding my location behind a VPN and I'm excluding GST/Tax from my minimum spend.

Oh and new user accounts who've never made a purchase probably can't stack these due to the new welcome offer (already in OP).

      • You type the codes in, apply and it says?

    • I think I found the issue. Its not applicable to any items with "Welcome deal" applicable items. I did it with a store with an identical item wihout the "Welcome Deal" thing and they work!
So apologies for me not reading the "IMPORTANT" bit ;)

      • Haha it's all good. These kind of coupons are new so I'm trying to work out all the little issues that cause them not to work.

        • Can I suggest that the desc be changed from "Welcome Offer" to "Welcome Deal". Maybe that is why some are getting this issue. Also I found that I had to save the coupon code into my account and was able to use it. Now the rest of the coupon codes says "Restocking", so guess they're all used up.

  • +1

Same - tried using them for different items and they won't apply, just says:

Sorry, these coupon codes have already been claimed. However, you can still enjoy other great deals on AliExpress.

But it's the same message across any best sellers items I've chosen and any of the relevant codes I've inputted.

  • Has anyone had experience with shipping times? The delivery times say "Aug 26 - 30 9-day delivery" - how likely is this to be true?

  • +3

If anyone is looking for something cheap to add to their orders this 6000pa portable car vacuum is US$1.72 before tax. Given it's choice you'll need more than US$10 worth of products in your cart.

  • Hey OP, you know if/when AliExpress restocks their coupon codes? Missed out on using OZAU60/AUAF60 (at-least that's what AliEx is telling me). Cheers

    • +1

I've put the question to AliExpress. What happens if you enter them manually as opposed to trying to "collect" them on the sale page.

      • Nada, I get the same message as some other users have, saying the coupons have already been claimed :(

I've put the question to AliExpress.

        Thanks

        • +1

They replied with the usage reports of these coupons instead. About ~12% with AUS750 sitting at ~16%. I recommend trying these as I think they'll apply in AUD too.

          • @Clear:

This coupon code is now unavailable. Try collecting another.

Odd, all the codes work except AUS400, both in USD and AUD and app/desktop šŸ˜

            I'll try again trmw

  • Getting "Sorry, these coupon codes have already been claimed. However, you can still enjoy other great deals on AliExpress." with all codes on desktop.
