      Summary:
      Before = you press pedal 10%, throttle opens 15%
      After = you press pedal 10%, throttle open 40%

        Exactly. No matter how fast or hard you press on the accelerator pedal, the throttle control system is limiting how fast the power is being delivered. Throttle controller can adjust this power delivery.

        Also throttle controller gives you extra 25kW power and 50Nm torque. /s

    OP, your posts information says it'd fit my car.

    I go to Autobarn website and putting in my car rego, they reckon the part won't fit my car.. 😅 Has autobarn always been this dodgy when it comes to part suitability? 😅

    Id be careful running these china chips, they are responsible for alot of blown engines

    If you really need more beans, i think its worth paying extra and just getting a proper engine tune

        yes safe, I wouldnt drive my old diesel turbo without one, just remember the harder you drive your car will use more fuel and put more strain on components.

      This doesn't tune your engine, it just changes the throttle mapping, it wont blow your engine.
      It essential does nothing for performance and is a total waste of money.
      The car might feel more peppy due to the more aggressive mapping, example: At 20% throttle position this box may tell the ECU the throttle is at 40% position, but there isn't an increase in overall performance.
      Most of the cars listed will have throttle mapping that is optimised for fuel economy and considering most of the cars listed are not in any way sports cars (except for the RC 350) so I don't really understand why you would bother.

        I have a throttle controller in my Ranger and it's not the same as just putting your foot down harder. It removes the slow buildup of acceleration and delay. No it doesn't add power, but it does increase speed of acceleration
