This thing is great. Use mine daily. Great for moving aircon around the house. It pushes my aircon down the hallway 10+ metres away.

I paid about 180 for my DC via The Good Guys Commercial. It has a turn knob (unlimited speed options). Where AC version only has 3.

Any half decent scooter isn't eligible due to 25km/hr limit. My scooter can go 100km/hr, but isn't even considered a PMD due to its length.

Just use the mesh instead. I no longer use my AX1500 as the mesh is used as my router. Two decos do my whole house - 5 bedrooms
