Lego City Undercover is amazing, one of the best games we have on the Switch.

    • +1

Do you think that still holds true for players who haven't been kids for a very long time?

Edited to clarify: I mean adults whose younger years are long gone, as opposed to young children. lol.

        Yes.

        • +2

          Agree.

          Source: 40-something-year-old me.

I had way more fun playing Lego City Undercover than I did playing GTA IV.

          • @mingofmongo: Thanks - you couldn’t have worded this more convincingly!

Any chance you (or anyone else) would know - is Lego City Undercover the standout title from the ones listed in the post? Happy to just buy one if it‘s the most strongly recommended of them. Cheers

            • @taffy1900: Lego City Undercover is the standout title but it is only single player (unless they added co-op to the Switch version). It is a great game at any age. Don't feel shame.

I bought Lego City Undercover at launch. It was a terrific game. I am sad that it lost its Wii U exclusivity but also happy that others can play the game.

  • Star Wars any good?

    • +1

I played on the PlayStation and had lots of fun. Not sure about the port to switch though so might need to look into that

    • +1

It's pretty good. The load times on the switch are awful compared to PC, but other than that I was pretty happy with it (enough to 100% it anyway). Ran into a few bugs originally, but they've fixed them since.
I wouldn't personally bother with any of the character packs, but that's a personal value/cost choice.

I played undercover with my son, there's so many cut scenes which makes the game so boring. Not sure why people on here like it so much.

  • My 7 yo loves lego city undercover

  • +1

All the Lego games are the same, just with different characters. They’re fun for a bit, trying to get all the stuff, but gets a bit boring after a while. Would never pay full price for them

Any of these have co op modes? Looking for something for my kids to play

    • +2

From my experience all the lego games have co op mode. It's the main reason I buy them.

  • Any suggestions for these games for kids (8/6) that they can play together?

    • My kids (7/6) play undercover and dc supervillains together. Split screen open world. They love them. Have been playing for over a year now.

  • Are any of these Lego games good for a 5yo or too complex? He likes Yoshi and Paw Patrol which are pretty easy to navigate but Lego games look more difficult

    • +1

My 4 and 5 year old play them together. Sometimes they get absolutely nowhere but they enjoy them.

  • What’s the best out of the games?
