Really annoying that Boost have dropped the $240 annual plan.

      $230. Yes, I agree.

I thought it'd be their more popular plan. I renewed couple of months ago but looks like I'll be going elsewhere next year. I didn't use nearly enough GB to justify paying more for a higher GB plan

      • They absolutely knew how popular it was, the move was targeted and intentional.

    • Yep, thats the one i bought for the last few years

SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering

    • Added to description

    • Where are you seeing this? I'm doing a 'find on page' for '30' and can't find it.

My wife's Telstra plan ends in 4 months, so would buy this if I could activate it later.

      • It's just for the Cashrewards cashback.

        • Cool, thanks.

So would I be able to purchase this SIM (or even the $230 one) today, and not activate it for 4 more months?

The terms are a bit confusing. They say 'data offers' are valid when you recharge for the first time by August 5th. What does that mean exactly?

          • @loksmack: I'd use the live chat to confirm with boost directly. I'm just sharing the deal, not associated with boost.

          • +2

@loksmack: That's just for the bonus data offer. If you just want to save $40 and get the standard data to use in 4 months, you will be fine. Alternatively, they run these deals often so you could just wait until closer to your wife's plan runs out and get an offer with the bonus data and maybe even a Cashrewards cashback to reduce the cost even more if they have one at the time.

  • Im on a 12 month plan that ends in a week, will I need to port out for this? If so, and I buy a $2 SIM card, will I need to top it up or just activate it and put no credit onto the sim? Thanks

    • You'll need to port out yeah. I've asked them about it before. I believe you just need to complete the porting process, don't think credit amount matters.

      • Is there a minimum period that you have to stay ported out for?

        • +1

No - My plan is to go over to an Amaysim E-Sim briefly (eg the $10 which has $9 cashback on cashrewards)

    • Most $2 Sims won't allow you to port over unless you add some sort of credit.

  • Can this offer be converted in to eSIM?

    • +1

Yes. You can do it in their app after activation.

      • Did you run into any issues while switching? I have tried so many times yet the same technical error page keeps on coming up, tried to call customer service but they were quite useless over the phone. Then they directed me to a Telstra parent store, I was told they couldn’t help…

  • Will there ever be a sale on the 365gb plan?

  • Can anyone even make the purchase when they go through the Cashrewards portal? I've tried to buy this about 15 times over the last month and it just declines and says something along the lines of 'Sorry, an error occurred".

    • same was able to do it once for the profit ones after that errors since just contacted boost they are escalating it we'll see if anything happens

  • Never bought a SIM card - relied on using work phone for personal usage.

Western Sydney based, read Telstra would be best suited.

240GB sounds like a lot, but no idea how much I use with Waze, social media etc.

Any deals worth comparing or would this 12 month be ideal

  • How are you supposed to activate this by August 5th if the sim needs to be Physically delivered? Are they offering next day delivery?

    • Suprisingly it got delivered next day by startrack

  • I think the $43 cashback only applies when you purchase the $300 sim. Doesn't stack with the discount when you purchase it for $260.
