Indeed, I'm down to my last few packets. Fantastic timing.
Cheers, msg for a year sorted.
and Palm Oil
There is zero scientific backing that suggests that MSG is any worse than salt.

ETA 2 mins until this bargain hits the front page of OB.
It's a prerequisite that any OBer must have lived off these exclusively for at least six months.
The best tasting mie goreng is in Indonesian packaging, you can find them at asian groceries such as Laguna at QV
how does the taste differ?
A bit hard to explain but you can taste the difference. The noodle is a bit tougher to chew with the export product you find at supermarkets, and the smell is a bit stronger. The local version has a better taste. Maybe it is just me but you can try and compare
nah just cook it a lil bit less and you will get the same thing. I Boil my water and chuck it in the microwave to two minutes - thats how I get my mi-goreng just a lil bit crunchy.
STRAYA
The imported ones has tougher noodle (better quality) so that if you overcook the noodle it won't break apart easily, nor absorb water too easily - the Indonesian version has softer noodle
Coz they have less teeth?
yer the best is mie goreng and from time to time they are $1.50 for a pack of 5 at woolworths.so….5c cheaper + they taste better
I like that I no longer have to goto the Asian markets to pick it up at this price :)
I wish they sell the rice noodle variety!
OW better pricematch this.
Gonna get atleast $5 worth for my staff discount.
Plenty of places in Footscrazy do it for this price you just need to look around though.
Still worth a plus though.Proposed changes to next ozbagain photo competition rules: entries must feature Indomie noodles.
Can anyone tell me what page it's on?
5, took me ages to find it
best thing ever.
Just watch your cholesterol. Noodles arent healthy to begin with, but the oil sachet is 100% palm oil.I still eat em though :P
If I'm making 2 packs I only use 1 sachet of oil
as mie goreng is indonesian product, Indonesian groceries sell this thing cheaper than anywhere else
Cheers, food for a year sorted.
