LG G4 OLED TV 77" $6115 Including Local Delivery, Installation & Bonus $600 Gift Card @ Harvey Norman

320

Looks like they're price matching JB, but with the gift card and delivery, it takes it down to $5,515.

This looks like a cracking deal for the OLED77G4PSA if you didn't have access to their special edu store discount.

  • I know it’s Gerry but this is obviously a far better deal right? Do you think JB would discount it another $600 maybe more as they aren’t offering free wall mounting?

    • Jb would offer a free wall mounting service?? Concealed??

  • What's the edu store discount?

    • Imagine it refers to these deals from the LG edu store: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/843965

    • There is currently no active EDU coupon, but when active, you can buy from LG Store for ~23.5% off (10% VIP + 15% EDU coupon) the advertised rate on LG store. When LG is running a sale at the same time, this means 23.5% off the sales price which can get very low.

But unlike Samsung or Apple edu stores, the LG edu coupon gets activated and deactivated every couple of months.

You could get the LG G4 77" + LG S40T for from JB for $5500 (extra for delivery + install) earlier in the month. So this seems alright but not amazing imo

For us in WA, Retravision price matches this and offers 10% discount on top for RAC members.
I got this tv for 5.5k which is descent.

    • A great option for anyone who doesn't need the gift card, but sadly doesn't include delivery.

LG has a "do not sell my personal information" switch not checked by default. It is defaulted to sell your personal information.

    • Thats kind of them to offer an option, unlike facebook, google and the rest of them

Not sure how this is a deal tbh.

  • Obligatory can the gift card be used on the TV purchase question

    Thanks op ordered 6

    • Forgot one for the bathroom…

      • +1

Bathroom is 60". Ordered bathroom upgrade.

I paid $3350.10 for this TV at the beginning of the month.

    • Where?

      • -3

Sorry. Just realised it was C4. Forgot there was a G4

    • 65 inch?

    • For this TV, new? If so, nope, you didn't, has never even been close to that price (yet).

      • Replied above. I thought this was the C4

I paid $6400 at Harveys for a LG 83" 2024 G4 during the EOFY sale. Amazing TV. A lot of money for a TV. Yes another sale could always come along. But if you use it a lot. Its worth it.

I love how flush the G4 is against the wall.
Only problem is that now I have an obsession with collecting 4K blurays.

    • -2

What's bluray? Are the studios still making them for all movies? (Second part is a serious question).
      Sounds like a great TV!

    • how did you manage all those cables?

      • +1

Get a recessed powerpoint for the power cable.

And precable all HDMI outlets with 2.1 cables though the wall. Dont forget to get at least 1x USB 3.0 extension cable to precable that too.

        • I did same with G2 in bedroom but HMDI cables are coming from separate hole in the wall.
I was hoping to get m4 but doesnt it's coming out here.

  • That’s a cracking deal. Got this with the SG10TY soundbar for $6500 all in earlier this month but if you don’t want the soundbar, this is a phenomenal price and the installation is a nice inclusion.

  • These are really good TVs, Havent seen the G series personally but mate had a C4 77” for 3k. The lowest I’ve seen the G 77” series was 4k, but seems like a good price
