Yes, before anyone asks, you may already have a free copy of this game on GOG from Amazon Prime Gaming and/or on Epic Games

Bless you son. I will prey for you

  • +3

As a recommendation I have this in my game library steam, epic and GOG. Well worthy of an experience if you enjoyed the Dishonoured series.

    • +8

Prey is much better than dishonoured.

      • +4

and dota is much better than league of legends

      • +2

Dishonoured 2 blew my mind with its level design, I had to stop for a while when It first came out, the level of creativity integrity the Studios had at the time was shown.

      • I've purchased Prey but yet to play - definitely seems like an awesome game.
That being said, I've yet to believe that "Pray is much better than dishonoured" when dishonoured is one of my top two all time favourites.

Good price. I paid $5.39 (cdkeys.com) for this game in September 2019.

If anyone after on PS, you can also pickup a preowned copy for about $5 delivered on eBay for PS4. Pretty sure I paid similar for new at EB Games (currently $9)

Best game of last generation imho

    • Last gen in terms of PS4 level? Yeah the amount of games that were pushing boundaries to be limited and compromised had a redux or remaster on ps5. But most of these forgotten games have it already haha.

Anyone played the Mooncrash DLC? Is it worth an extra seven bucks?

    • +2

I preferred it to the base game

    • +2

      Mooncrash is great yes.

    • -1

No! It's awful, nothing like the main game at all.

  • +3

    AWESOME GAME
and the Mooncrash DLC was good also

    • Sorry but Mooncrash is rubbish.

  • Fantastic game and a fantastic price

  • You might have this on Epic Games already

Guy with the most votes (20+) said the exact same thing as you with (-1)

Such a clever, consistent bunch we are!

The original comment delivers it in a knowing, tongue in cheek way as opposed to this comment which has a relative lack of depth. Also the original comment was made 8 hours prior to this replicated comment, whose author surely would have seen the top comment before replying.

This concludes my OB comment analysis for today, thank you for reading.

        • +4

Lol I just woke up and quickly posted without checking other comments in case someone bought this again when they already own it.

        • -3

But how does that explain all the upvoted "best game ever", "my fav game", "best last gen game" duplicates all relatively equal on the depth level and all absent from tongue in cheek…?

Heck, I could probably run out a post saying "man I loved this game" and pick up 2-3 positives.

Such a great game! I can't wait to go back a replay this one. Same with the Dishonored series.

  • +1

This was free on Amazon Prime, in case you may have it already

    Who else thought Prey 2006?

    • +1

I'm still waiting for the sequel. It had orangey and blue portals before Portal!

      • And Narbacular Drop had orangey and blue portals before Prey!

  • +1

Thanks to comments, going to get this. And Fallout 4.

  • Is this as good as Recturnal?

  • Are there any jumpscares?

    • +2

I hate jumpscares. And for me I really enjoyed the game. So no, its more of a continuous and skilfully crafted intermittent psychological dread than jumpscares. After a while (after you clear areas and become powerful) its weird, the setting becomes an oddly comforting and peaceful place. I replay it every few years

    • There are some jump scares on occasion from the mimics.
Like how in Half Life the head crabs would jump scare you.

  • Best game of all time for me personally. But it requires that you think a little bit instead of having someone hold your hand all the way through:

Like. Do I go guns blazing, or hack a system, or crawl through a vent, or attempt to mind control an enemy and turn them against each other while i stealth past?

Its also unusual in that you encounter a lot of NPCs who work, cooperate, or even fight alongside you, if you play your cards right and convince them you’re worth helping.

So basically its a modern take on System Shock and Deus Ex, but with more features and depth

  • I find the control system in this game really difficult. It makes it hard to get any kind of flow in my abilities, like I would in Dishonored or the Batman Arkham games.
Anyway I was pretty close to the end when I got distracted by other games so I should go back and finish it.
