Yeah especially the bundles, they werent great but included them for completeness.
For the base game it's been in the $2 range before, but I think $2.x vs $4.x is acceptable if you only want the game (as I did).
If you received XCOM 2 for free via the Epic Games store giveaway, it is actually cheaper to upgrade that to the XCOM 2 Collection for just $8.75.

the epic version of xcom 2 has issues with some existing mods (namely, you probably cannot use the majority of them).
there's some mods that tries to fix it, not sure of the milage tho : https://www.nexusmods.com/xcom2/mods/800

Nope, I must be the odd one out though 😅. Actually forgot to check my epic account before buying. Lucky I missed the freebie I guess haha
