It's a fun park for wombats and kangaroos

      • Wallabies to be precise

  • I have one of these. The big ones. It’s great.

When overseas I saw the small ones and I don’t think they could reasonably fit much of any chalk.

    • +1

How much chalk do you need?

      • +3

Depends on the interview and my water retention on the day but 5-10 claps throughout the interview is usually enough to reduce forehead glisten and palm slop.

It's a cute turnaround that this deal is only accessible to people in Hobart :)

    • They are opening up in Emporium, Melbourne next week. Same freebies.

    • Tas only and STILL not eligible!

  • Thanks OP. I will advise you mainlanders out there what the snacks are like if I get along tomorrow.

    • Too cold and wet to go anywhere tomorrow

The only reason I would need a chalk bag is to help me climb out of bed

    What's a Lutruwita?

      Made up word.

      • That's what I was thinking

        • I'm not even joking or being "racist" like whoever negged me is probably thinking. The Tasmanian Aboriginal language was invented in 1992 based on a very small number of accounts from the original Tasmanian Aboriginal tribes who all spoke different languages.

Wife had a terrible time trying to get Arcteryx to warranty a $400 jacket after some of the fabric went weird.
Even the ombudsman couldnt get them to reply.
Try Mont or Patagonia, companies that stand behind their products.

    • They've too many rich loyalists devoted to their brand to care by the looks of it.

I agree Patagonia are awesome to deal with. I bought some Patagucci stuff off gumtree and they still happily helped me out dealing with normal wear and tear on my jacket.

      • I've been ghosted by their customer service on another continent, before they became massively upscale and fashionable. I generally avoid the brand, especially since they moved production from British Columbia to China, but kept their sky high pricing.

Last time I walked into one of their stores, they were selling… mens casual wool suits for over 1K. It was utterly baffling.

    • Bummer.. I had an opposite experience. They sorted out two jackets that my wife busted. Most retailers would be in their right to point out the damage was caused by negligence. Not arcteryx. They repaired the puffers at cost both times.

      Arcteryx Chadstone - last year.

I'm sure you can carry things other than chalk? It looks like it would be good to carry around dog treats for dog training?

    • +2

      no. it's only for chalk.

        Anything else is illegal.

        • The OzBargain 1%ers don’t care…

    • +1

I have one and it would be awesome for this

  • +1

A chalk bag is worth $60? Really?

    • Sometimes $350

I'll grab some with my OzBargain Premium Plus hoodie. Say hi if you spot me.

    • My wife said she was heading to the city in the morning for something free. I've just connected the dots. Will tell her to look for you and say hi.

      • +1

There's quite a few regular OzBargainers around these parts currently. We'll see how eager they'll be to say hi.
