@QuickToThePointless: Thanks for you help, my stupid ass didn’t realise I had to go to menu and select Education store option. After that I got the right price. I also put the trade in request. I will just pack my lg c2 and let them take it away. Let’s hope there won’t be any issue with trade in.
@V003: no worries mate. rest assured the delivery guy wont care what you offer up.
let us all hope these Samsung OLEDS last 10+ years!
Anyone had any luck price matching this at another store? JB HiFi wont.
Anyone have this TV or the previous one and can comment on how bad sport and motion is? Seems to be the Achilles heel of the Samsungs is their processor. May wait for black Friday to see what Sony Oleds go on sale.

rated 8.9 for sport - at this price its a no brainer for me!
Awesome price! Thanks OP!
hows everyone loving their new sets here?
Hi all,
I now have a good friend's .edu.au email address to use, and have apparently successfully changed the main account email address from my one to their ".edu.au" one… I have deleted the App (couldn't see any way to sign out of iPhone App) and signed in again with the .edu.au address on the app (I am also signed in on laptop on Chrome)…
But I am having difficulty now just trying to access the Education Store… The app says "Sorry, we were unable to complete your log-in. Please retry logging in or continue as a guest".
Any help on what to do next please?
OK, update…
I finally went back and forth enough to make it work…. Aaaaaaaaand then finally went to buy it… Aaaaaaand… Sold out!
So, sold out. Damn!
Would really love it if anyone knows of any other deals for a good quality Samsung 4K tv (would definitely consider other sizes than 55" too, 65" etc).
Also, side note, the 'trade-in' of the 'old TV' offer has gone down to only $50 on the education store, but is up to $300 in the 'normal' Samsung store (non-Education Store).
try a few times mate…the app was janky for me too but went through eventually at the outset of this deal…gd luck!
Yeah, I've been trying heaps since I got signed in properly to the Edu part of the Samsung App/Store… But still no luck.
It's showing "Out Of Stock" and "Get Stock Alert" for all 3 sizes listed of the S90C (55", 65", 77"). Same on App and desktop/laptop browser.
So unfortunately I think it's done, and I've missed out.
Update:
From the app, Edu Store, was hiding the 55" tv option completely.
Now showing "Pre-Order", but then when clicking to pay, says nothing in cart/cart is empty. Tried several times, same outcome.
Update, Update:
App, Edu Store, now showing the 55" tv again as "Pre-Order".
Ordered, $1,377.02 total (old tv trade-in deal down to $50 only, and the 5% plays off that change).
It was a LOT of stuffing around in the end…
Oh well. Fingers crossed it actually turns up on the late Sept delivery date now! Hahaha.
@Stonecutter 909: Is 55 only available for pre order?
@angelkulit025: Sorry, only just saw this. Yes, 55" only size available, and only available as pre-order. Probably expired now?
Do you guys think that this TV will go on a similar sale again?
FYI - if u want a more functional remote than the mini one they give you, a $3 aliexpress knock off works perfectly - search BN59-01301A
you are welcome!
if you sign in with the edu adress on the app it should come up fine - i just tested it for you - sign in, search for "s90c", select 55" variant. it will show $1499.50. select "recycle old TV" for $100 off and additional 5% will be applied in cart as firsttime purchase.
Secondly, the delivery driver wont care what you present to recycle - they wont test it and feel free to keep the remote and and cables.
They wont send a Samsung Head Engineer to your home.
Even if you offer up nothing there is no way the will repack your new TV and send it back because you "misplaced" your old TV!
