      Gas reading & change over is reportedly slow in other Deals & may take up to 90d to be notified. So expect up to 120d with gas.

      Time required to stay with retailer to qualify is usually much less.
      But not stated in this Deal!

      For years, repeatedly switched retailers after 60d with Econnex.

      Received all incentives in ~90 days.

    Used Econnex twice for internet and got the gift cards within the stated time. Good bonus for something I was gonna do anyway.

    I signed up same deals in April. $200 for Electricity and $200 for gas, received the gift card last week.

    • Same here! But I'm stuck on activating the cards. They make you download an app and then put your phone number in to verify, but the verification texts weren't coming when I tried Sat night.

  • Will the above link works through any cashback site like Shopback as when i tried to open, it took me to a different page and no mention of the above offer anywhere…. anyone have any idea how we get this offer through Shopback….

    It went fine for me for I think 3 gas and electricity connections, I got my gift cards with no issues.

    Last time Tango decided to disregard that I had signed up through Econnex and signed me up directly through them because I had been with them at some point in the last 12 months, there was no communication about this. I was not made aware of this when I signed up. Econnex said they were not aware of that condition when I signed up. They are now, I'm not sure they are making people aware of it though. I ended up getting the $100 for electricity and nothing for gas. I obviously would not have signed up with Tango if it weren't for the extra $, I'd have chosen the next cheapest.

    Econnex did offer to give me at first smaller amounts, but in the end $100 if I signed up for electricity and gas through them again, but in the end I decided to go with the AGL sign up bonus offer as it was a much higher benefit and I would know straight away if it was successful, with no minimum period to stay (I'll be leaving as soon as the credit dries up). I also don't agree that I should have to sign up again to get the benefit, when I had already met all of the terms that were disclosed.

    Just something to be aware of - there may be terms you may not be made aware of. If you do it, avoid any companies you've been with at any point in the last 12 months in case they have this term which is not disclosed.

    As I've just switched I'm not in the market for any of these services, but in future if I am I will still consider Econnex if they have an offer, but only if I was already going to switch to the same retailer on the same offer, as I will assume I won't get the gift card based on undisclosed terms.
