    Gas reading & change over is reportedly slow in other Deals & may take up to 90d to be notified. So expect up to 120d with gas.

    Time required to stay with retailer to qualify is usually much less.
    But not stated in this Deal!

    For years, repeatedly switched retailers after 60d with Econnex.

    Received all incentives in ~90 days.

    Same here! But I'm stuck on activating the cards. They make you download an app and then put your phone number in to verify, but the verification texts weren't coming when I tried Sat night.

      Doesn't look like we can double dip through any cashback site as i read the old posts from econnex and you can't have both the offers as per the person associated with econnex….. I reckon we have to go through the link OP provided….. but we can have the mastercards from econnex and the energy provider sign up bonuses if any available

  It went fine for me for I think 3 gas and electricity connections, I got my gift cards with no issues.

  Last time Tango decided to disregard that I had signed up through Econnex and signed me up directly through them because I had been with them at some point in the last 12 months, there was no communication about this. I was not made aware of this when I signed up. Econnex said they were not aware of that condition when I signed up. They are now, I'm not sure they are making people aware of it though. I ended up getting the $100 for electricity and nothing for gas. I obviously would not have signed up with Tango if it weren't for the extra $, I'd have chosen the next cheapest.

  Econnex did offer to give me at first smaller amounts, but in the end $100 if I signed up for electricity and gas through them again, but in the end I decided to go with the AGL sign up bonus offer as it was a much higher benefit and I would know straight away if it was successful, with no minimum period to stay (I'll be leaving as soon as the credit dries up). I also don't agree that I should have to sign up again to get the benefit, when I had already met all of the terms that were disclosed.

  Just something to be aware of - there may be terms you may not be made aware of. If you do it, avoid any companies you've been with at any point in the last 12 months in case they have this term which is not disclosed.

  As I've just switched I'm not in the market for any of these services, but in future if I am I will still consider Econnex if they have an offer, but only if I was already going to switch to the same retailer on the same offer, as I will assume I won't get the gift card based on undisclosed terms.

    Just made the switch again through this deal after receiving the $200 +$200 gift card with simply energy back in April. There is no AGL when I browse through this deal, like (they dont compare all brands). Ended up sign up with Power Shop as it show the cheapest rate plus $150 sign on credit for electricity and $50 for gas.
    ⛔️Power Shop requires direct debit set up during the sign up process on Econnex website which is a downsite.
    Will see how its goes this time with the gift card.

      Varies with location. There is AGL in Sydney North Shore at least.
