Seems like these deals aren't as good as they used to be but JB are throwing in a free Ring Video Doorbell Plus with Chime to maybe sweeten the deal. I can't decide where I should do this or not.
Bonus $600/$800 JB Gift Card on $79/$99 150GB/300GB Per Month 2yr JB Hi-Fi Mobile Plan & Ring Video Doorbell Plus @ JB Hi-Fi

it's not bad, depending on your needs. if you don't need a ring, then it's not for you. others don't have a ring and would like one. Now that is a great deal, plus you get a gift card. so around $1100 you are receiving. not a bad deal.
No it's bad. Your post basically says that as well.
what is a good deal for you? free iPhone 16 pro max + $1000 gift card + ring + $69 for 12 month telstra plan?
lmao, it's not happening. therefore this isn't a bad deal.
@Hugh G Rection: Upload receipt of you purchasing this "deal" please
@OfficerBarbrady: I think they were being sarcastic.
Bought a Ring Video Doorbell Plus with Chime Pro for $116 two days ago.
And now it's $99 @ Bunnings: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/857822
@1r4n14n: No. I think this is 2023 release. The tag on bunnings suggests 2020 release
@1r4n14n: They are different.
@jimojr: What's different?
@1r4n14n: .One is plus + pro, the one from Bunnings is not.
@jimojr: Get a Bonus Ring Video Doorbell Plus with Chime valued at $269.

@1r4n14n: One wipes your arse .
How is the door bell transaction processed?
The JB Hi-Fi Gift Card and the bonus Ring Video Doorbell Plus with Chime (647056) (referred to as the “JB Hi-Fi Voucher” in the Telstra Terms and Conditions) will be available to you instore after connection approval by Telstra.
So, can be refunded, making this deal $800 + 250 = 1050.
Stil waiting for the $1400 deal to upgrade to Fold6
Last month I signed up for $89 a month for 300 GB data with $1100 standard gift card.
Now that's a deal.
Only worth if you need to be on the Telstra retail network and need a ring camera and something else at JB HI-FI that costs the same or larger than the voucher.
Otherwise I would just go on Aldi Mobile which uses Telstra wholesale network. They have data rollover too so if you data usage isn't consistent it can work out in your favor.
Aldi mobile with 5G speed caps
Yes. That's why I said "Only worth if you need to be on the Telstra retail network"
In addition to no 5G speed caps Telstra retail network has greater coverage.
Get Boost pre-paid in most cases. Retail Telstra network for a fraction of the price.

TPG mobile on 60gb plan on 24mo = $840
This deal over 24mo on $79 = $1896 ($1296 after GC)Saved $456 on TPG over same timeframe and no lock in contract
Just sayin
Consider the following:
-price can go up on your plan while this is a contract.
- the TPG plan has 60GB of data where's the one you are comparing it to has 150GB
- the TPG plan is on the inferior Vodaphone Network where's this one is on Telstra's retail network.Tin can and string = $2
Saves $1294 over 24 months!
Telstra Payphone = $0
Save $1296 over 24 months!
This is awful
