Up to 7% cashback now. No longer 15%

    • Cashrewards has 15% while TopCashback has 10% cashback on select categories

      • Just saw a SB email saying up to 15% and a $30 cap. Likely starting at 9am?

        Good for non westpac buyers.

  • +4

Westpac finally joins. 10% bonus Cashback for Westpac eligible cards

  • +4

    Repeated of this yesterday deal.

None from the 3 cashback companies has been tracked yet. Looks like very busy Amazon.

    • Of course none tracked yet. Check "When will I get my Cashback?" for timeline.

      • -1

Don't be that guy. That is not at all how cashback tracking works.

        • Unlike certain stores tracking for Amazon has never been instant. It usually tracks after a day or two. Does not hurt to be patient.

          • @m9: There's a difference between being patient, and being naive while discarding mountains of historical evidence. Do what you want, risk what you want, downvote what you want. Enjoy your e-mails against a condescending bot. I'm not your parent.

            • @xrailgun: You need to unclench - you're the one coming off as condescending. I'm not that petty to feel the need to neg you and I didn't. Amazon takes a day or two to track irrespective of the cashback provider. That's a fact and nothing to do with being naive. You've also been here long enough to know that cashbacks are just icing on the cake and shouldn't be the only determining factor when making purchases.

      My top cashback one tracked.

    • +1

TCB and CR both tracked by noon today. SB has been the only not tracking any of my orders from yesterday yet.

  • +2

Starts at 9am, close wallets & sleep.

    • A discrepancy - Overview says 12:00am but T&Cs 9:00am

      • Given most categories are currently 0% I'd suggest waiting.

        • +1

I saw this deal posted that says all categories for eligible Westpac card holders.

Quote: 10% upsize cashback at Amazon on all categories. Exclusive for Westpac card holders.

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/856948

    • Overview states start at 12.00am aest vs 9am in TnC, very confusing. Look like copy and paste lol

Same deal yesterday, shoped but sb didn't track, now it disappeared from the app, new same deal poped up for 17/7?

    • Regular occurrences on eBay challenges as well few weeks back, damn hard to claim the missing cashback to SB.

  • No $3 bonus if buying zero % categories right?

Westpac 10% allows this… So hopefully both!

  • +1

Using gift card balance all good?

  • sorry if this has been answered in another post, but does it track purchases through the amazon app?

    • Don't think so as when you click the Amazon link from SB it brings you to the browser version. Not sure if they can connect between SB app and Amazon app on the phone.

      • Mine opens the app

        • Dang it, ur right.

        • Same and it has a pop up saying tracked.

          • @nc112: Same here, but so far none of my transaction tracked :(

          • @nc112: How long till it tracked?

            • @RTX9090Ti: Just got tracked message

              • @nc112: Same here, looks like they used batch processing, time based.

All cashrewards, and shopback are tracked, except TCB which hasn't…

  • Do we know if this applies to subscribe and save?

    • +7

These cashback business is overly complicated:
      * Does it work with app?
      * Does it work with this coupon?
      * Does it work with that coupon?
      * Does it work with partial or full amazon gift card balance?
      * Does it work with sub and save?
      * Do I need to clear my cart first?
      * Does it work with item in my wishlist 'saved for later' ?
      * Does Amazon recognise specific payment method like from Westpac, etc for cashback tracking?
      * Does it work with all browsers? Edge, Firefox, Chrome?
      * Does it work with NordVPN or any other VPN?

Most often than not is most likely your cashback is not tracked for whatever reason and you gotta keep chasing them up.

    • short answer is Yes, but only for the first delivery. It has always been this way (IIRC).

    • Yeah I'd like to know that too.

@nismo do you know if this is always the case that S&S counts and it's always this way with all cashback companies like Cashrewards and Topcashback?

      • +1

You can generally earn cashback on the first S&S order only, you do not continue to earn cashback on subsequent S&S orders / deliveries of that same item/order.

It's in the T&C's with every cashback provider. You are better off reading this info yourself, it's there. I've extracted each of the 3 providers below.

Shopback has it written this way:

These items are not eligible for Cashback:
        Recurring Subscribe and Save Orders

        As does TopCashBack:

Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders are ineligible for cashback

        Cashrewards state:

The first (new) Subscribe & Save order of a product in an eligible category. Subsequent orders are ineligible for cashback

        • Yeah exactly. New rep has said first orders are no longer eligible though πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

          Edit: they were wrong

  • @gotyourback the overview says 12am start time so I made the purchase already. Didn't read further into the T&C for 9am start time.

Can I contact you to get this manually credited to me?

  • How do you go about activating this one. The date on my app says the 16th instead of 17th and it is finalising, even though I haven't bought anything?

  • Is it bugged? Mine hasn't moved.

    • Maybe overwhelmed or glitchy, just be prepared to submit a claim.

      • The case with majority of Shopback transactions!

  • In the app it says "offer not valid with store discounts" . So what, does it mean any prime offer is ineligible?

  • Cheers OP! 🍻

  • is there a way to link shopback to the actual amazon app?

    • I clicked the link in the post and it took me to the Shopback app. Then when I click "shop now" it let's me click another tab to "continue to app".

Did my purchase over $30 about 30 mins ago and waiting for it to be tracked.

  • Does anyone know how subscribe and saves work if delivery dispatch is end of next week?

Will it track as payment usually gets debited out of the Westpac debit cards closer to dispatch date and not today?

  • Ordered yesterday, haven't been tracked as of now 😌

    • Same here :(

The progress bar doesn't show any updates whatsoever and it just looks like we failed to meet the criteria though I did spend the $30 yesterday.

    • same, no tracking here yet (though cashrewards one yesterday tracking update received)

  • Cheers made a $32 order

  • would this work if i buy a $30 gift card?

  • I did everything as instructed and spent over $30 early this morning, but only shows up as a click recorded:(

    • +1

apparently amazon takes a few days to track regardless of cashback platform

  • -1

Are purchased items from Amazon US via AU eligible for this?

  • I just notice there is a term saying β€˜any items added to your cart prior clicking through cashbavk’ would be invalid.

I recall I purchased 2 boxes of Pepsi in this way. Wonder if anyone could confirm this would work or not. Thanks

    • That's a pretty standard No No condition tbh. In the past though, sometimes I have still received CB by doing this…. so YMMV.

      • +1

        thanks!

i ended up with cancelled my order and re-order with top cashback, which is even better, as i could use gift card balance and also better cashback rate (20% compared with around 15%)

        • Win Win πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

  • Did anybody ever get the $3? Mine is still calculating.
