I have a pixel 7 with a cracked main camera lense. Is this worth a shot? Or should I just deal with it until the P8 goes on clearance.
Work gives me $500 every 2 years and I have 12 months to go, so I'm wondering if I just deal with it until then, and the P8 may be on clearance by then. FWIW I got the P7 for $500.
Could trade the P7 in for something. Bring the price down to about $550.
Not overly sold though.

Can I join your workforce?
If you are a Primary Plant or Primary Asset Engineer engineer, possibly. Bloke just quit.
I'd stay away, I don't know how anyone could survive on <$10/fortnight salary. Must be a professional OzBargainer.
I went from the pixel 7 pro (cracked screen) to a s23+ recently. So far Samsung is much better. Less bugs and better battery life.
128GB of storage in 2024 is pretty garbage.
If you've got your camera roll backing up to the cloud, you'll rarely use it all. I also don't play games on my phone. Only thing realistically taking up space are my Lossless playlists on Apple Music :)
P.S. check if you got the grandfathered free 200GB OneDrive storage from Telstra. I don't pay for cloud storage ;)
I bought the 256gb version for that price on release.
yeah I need at least 1tb of storage. does it have a sd card slot?
no slot
Damn that's a deal breaker.
and at most?
i take nothing less than 1tb
Would you take more than 1tb though?
@Ozbar Gain: yep 2tb would be ideal
@kungfuman: That's crazy, do you use your phone as portable storage? Emulation? Games?
@heef: filming mostly its the go to camera when I don't have my DSLR. I can film in lossless quality in 4k 60fps on my iPhone and even 1tb isn't enough its massive videos files. I usually need to plug in a ssd and strap it to the back to increase the video storage capacity.
Had this phone I felt it was just a bit small, vs 6.5 . 6.4 is my sweet spot really for a phone. I’m using one now Samsung with SD card which is handy I can have 1TB storage .battery is 5000. A35 is good enough for me .i felt like I was using an iPhone SE. But not a bad price when we’re $1300 year ago.
A35 is 6.6"
Yes doesn’t seem to big just better to see on like messaging etc. my eyes are ok also no issue , idk I felt same way about S24 wasn’t thrilled. Plus open Samsung switch back up to SD card is a bonus. I also paid $600 at time using Samsung loyalty vouchers and trade in .. sold $900.
Same price as Amazon
