          I bought the 128GB version, I have just tested it and you are correct. It is ~2.2x faster than the black version I have for write speeds according to Crystal Mark and USB Deview.

          Read speeds gave no additional performance, but at 330MB/s, I'm happy with that. With 90MB/s to 120MB/s write speeds with the one OP shared, I'm content with using it.

          The one in the post also gets significantly warmer, not sure if that will be an issue for those doing large transfers. I won't be, so not an issue for me.

    such incredible bargain, at 400mb/s I believe these are faster than ssds hence the premium pricing, well worth the extra cost will save you a ton of time in the long run. Plus 256gb is a pretty decent size for 2024 you probably won’t need to buy storage ever again

      400mb/s is UP TO and it is read only. write speed is about 10% of that.

      Exactly, I have thr same device and sure it goes fast, but only for a few minutes before the heat throttles it down to 15-25meg, almost need a heatsink

    I have the stainless coloured version of this. Super handy for moving files around. Write speed is a atrocious though so you cant be in a hurry.
