  I have one of these in 256gb and absolutely recommend. It’s fast enough to be used with iPhone 15 pro for external ProRes recording, if anyone was looking at them for that use case

    Those portable 2.5" Mechanical hard drive's are the best for long term storage. SSD and flash Drive's need to be plugged in at least twice a year to keep them healthy.

      @soaringphoenix agree with vid_ghost. Recently had to throw out a whole batch of flash USBs as they were cactus and suspect they died from not being used.

      Thanks for the reminder @vid_ghost will have to do that with my ssds and flash I don't regularly use.

    I can still add to cart at the sale price. Certain delivery addresses such as my parcel collect say can't deliver to this address though (usually its the other way around with my non metro address and the Amazon bug where the item doesn't show in stock)

      Hmm, now I see it at the sale price again. I noticed when I purchased it said only 2 left in stock, but it no longer says that. So perhaps the higher price was only temporary before they added more stock.
