I think you need to put the SIM to a 3G only device to let amaysim detects that your device won't provide service soon. In other words, you won't have a chance with an up-to-date device. Turn off VoLTE on a 4G device may also work.

You can use existing or get a new number. I think you may loose existing number plan credit if choose it? Shame as im already on a $30 plan but it wants me to renew. Not sure if customer service would do a refund?
Any one buy the optus x pro? Care to comment on its performance? Ie what Os can it be upgraded to? Did the cashrewards track on the a13 5g or just the 4g model?

wanted to get another a13 5g but left it too late its now out of stock. so i settled for the a13 4g instead. now for the last family voucher not sure if im best to get another a13 4g or the optus x pro with inferior specs but it has nfc
