        Around 40 mins on a full charge on the auto mode. It helpfully displays the remaining battery time on the screen.

            @DannyBoy: In auto, it seems to only increase in power when it detects more debris before ramping back down to it's default speed. You can of course keep it in boost mode but that limits the running time to around 6-8 mins.

      I got last week from the JB Hifi deal, and yes, it comes with the drop in dock.

          I would say you could only attach the thin/small ones like the carpet/stair attachment or a thin nozzle type.

    I was hesitant to jump on the Dyson bandwagon since I have 19mm plush pile carpet. Pulled the trigger last week on the JB deal and never looked back. It really does live up to the marketing hype. Auto mode sucks so hard it pulls the carpet off the underlay and jams the motorbar head, but Eco mode calms it down and extracts layers of dust I never knew were there. It's also a lot lighter and easy to maneuverer than my old Sauber 😎

    Would this be overkill for a 2br apartment at this discounted price? Would never pay retail for a 2BR but seems pretty good at this price

      Nah I use one for a 2br apartment. The laser light head is super nice and is really informative in making sure you hit all the spots on your floor. Plus it doubles as a short nozzle because you can take it off like a sleeve to reveal it so you can hit all the corners or siding as well.

      In the end it just comes down to how you value cleaning your place. No one can really answer that for you.

      I used this for a carpeted 2BR, very handy for removing hair and pet fur. Doesn't tangle on the brush head too.

      If you mean Floor Dok, No. both JB HiFi and Amazon don't include Floor Dok. If you want Dok, you need to buy Gen5Detect Complete (around $1200~1400). In Australia, Floor DOK for Gen5 is not available seperately. It's available in Complete package only.
