Ohhh. It's a hair dryer! Got me looking WTH it is. 😆

    • Same. It may be a worthwhile piece of information to have in the title or description.

took me two edit attempts to add information which I forgot, yet i didn't think of adding Hair Dryer in title 😂

I have this. People deride it here but genuinely it's excellent, dries your hair very quickly without it being frizzy. I do notice the difference between this and a cheap one.

I am sure there will be some differences between the $500 hair dryer and a cheap $20 one ;)

Agree. I own one of these. Yes, they are extremely expensive and objectively overpriced. At the same time, using it over other hair dryers does make my hair look better. Smoother and more shiny. Don’t know why, but that’s what it does.

I bought a $60 AliExpress battery-powered air blower. I walk outside, turn it on, and it blow-dries my hair in 10 seconds. I'm not sure how well it will perform in winter or humid conditions.

You may think I'm joking, but I'm not.
It uses a drone motor, so it's very loud, but it pushes a significant amount of air.

    • People aren't deriding it for the quality - save vacuum batteries Dyson has a pretty good name for itself. But RRP $749 and on sale for $500 for a hair dryer just doesn't make sense to me(and probably the majority of others).

I believe there is a ceiling to products where eventually you stop paying for the quality of the product and you start paying for the brand name or niche features that you likely wont use and I think this product sits comfortably in that area. I would expect 200-300 bucks at full price to buy the best hair dryer you could possibly need for the soul purpose of drying your hair. The features on this thing are just silly..

  • The rrp is $749 that's insane.

I really don't notice a difference between Dyson and $40 hair dryer.

  • On a quick look before seems hard to justify the extra price over the high $300s deal prices of the original version. Except for the fact it got discontinued sigh

  • Anyone got recommendations for a hair-dryer that is better value?

Minor advantage over a $30 dryer as tested by project farm on YouTube.

Got It for my wife. She loves it. It does dry hair quickly expecially my pubes!

  • Bought copy. It feels the same to me and dry the hair same. Same smoothness as far as my hand can feel. Mate tested it said real Dyson better but cannot explained how its better in terms of drying but they said quality better. copy only cost about $50. But if I have the extra money…why not.

    • Only problem with copycat products is theres usually less quality control, especially on essential safety features. When you are dealing with a device designed for use on your body and involving heat its best to go for something sold locally under a brand that can be trusted.

  • I have this. DO NOT BUY!

    • Did it make your hair fall out?

  • Wife bought a copy of this for only $30AUD when we were at the Shenzhen electronics market so we got to test it out in person. You can find copies on places like AliExpress. Can't tell any difference between the copy and the real one. The heat changes based on distance just like a genuine nural. When we were travelling all over China we noticed that many hotels had Dyson dupes as their hair dryers as well.
