      I'm no fan of these key locks anyway. It is literally advertising to criminals "Hey look over here, there's a key to this premises right here".
      These are not indestructible and you can get into them if you want to.

      I have my spare keys in a sturdy Ikea plastic container, hidden in the backyard.

        Oh I wouldn't have put it in plain sight, but hidden somewhere for the 'just in case' times I lock myself out.

          @cornflakes: The disadvantage you have with these is that you need to find a spot where you can bolt it onto a wall - reducing your options greatly.

              @tonester: Well why else would you have a lockable safe? If you just want to hide it, what's the point of using a safe? Might as well use a simple plastic container. Either one of these options will be opened by a thief if found.

                  @tonester: Yes it is. But if you have this unattached safe they can either open it right there or take it away and come back later.

        I always thought about getting one as a decoy. Theives aren't the best people to piss off but it might be enough time for the cops to show up. Or if I must use it, stick it behind a hedge/tree or something that'd make it such a pain you'd never forget your key.

  seems you can press the 4 number code buttons in any order and it will unlock…..
