Hi, wanted to check will mounting kit be provided. Also, the distance between two hooks at the back is 50cm.. can assume this can be mounted on studs as standard distance is 60cm and stud width being 10cm ?
Is it DIY friendly ?
Pre installed mounting hooks are installed. This can be mounted on studs of course.
Definitely DIY friendly as it just plugs right in, no need for hard wiring.
I understand it can be mounted on studs and thanks for confirmation, however, wanted to check if both ends will sit on studs considering 50cm between both remounting clips
We haven't received negative feedback in regards to the studs so I believe there is no issue here. However there are other options in the case of it not sitting on the studs. There are hooks and nails available to hold up to 30kg on plaster (no studs required). This mirror weighs about 13kg so even grabbing a set that holds up to 15kg will suffice.
@aussiebaths: If you keep it empty, yes. I'd say you'd want to work with at least 20kg, just in case.
@bboz: Better safe then sorry, 30kg ones are always the safest option, with only a few dollars more expensive.
hmm 600 between studs, I must be over engineering my reno, 450MM centres …. based on 90x45 studs that makes 50cm perfect …..

Unfortunately no, however we do have one with a black frame to match a bathroom that has black tapware and accessories.
