      Per past experience battery life of Samsung non-pro watches has been pretty disappointing, and worse with LTE in use. We need to wait and see if that’s improved in Watch 7.
      Even 6 series battery life was worse than Watch 5 Pro, hence, I didn’t upgrade and still using Watch 5 Pro which easily lasts 2-3 days on a single charge.
      Based on that probably Watch 7 Pro would be a worthy upgrade but too pricey for now.

        watch 4 lte here. Literally drains 1% per 2secs if in low reception areas, have stopped using lte since.

      Managed to get the Galaxy Watch 7 44mm LTE for $304.75 (less $7.20 from my Samsung loyalty balance).

      There is a strange glitch (or not?) that if you add for example, Orange Band, instead of adding the cost $66.75 ($89 cost - $22.25 discount) to the total amount, it instead deducted the cost of the phone by $22.25 resulting it cheaper to buy the Watch WITH the band than buying the Watch WITHOUT the band.

      The composition thus is as follow:

      Watch7 - $699 reduced to $238 ($89 offset the cost of Orange Band + $50 Trade in + $50 Samsung Unpacked code + $122 20% wearable code + $150 instant cashback at checkout)
      Orange band - $66.75 ($89 less $22.25 discount - combined with above, this is effectively a net discount of $22.25 to the total cost)

      So total cost is $304.75

      You will still get the extra Athleisure Band for $0

      I suggest if you are super interested with this watch, with the band glitch (?), you better be hurry. You can perhaps argue the $22.25 discount is for Samsung NOT giving you the default band because if you choose say, the Orange band, you won't get the default silver band.

    Just ordered and all the Asurion stuff worked fine for me so far - trading an old Apple Watch.

    Do I need to send the original puck charger and strap or do they just need the head? I can send that stuff in but could also keep it as a spare for my missus' newer Apple Watch!

    Just a heads up I missed out on the unpacked $200 bonus credit. Signed up but never got an email.

    I just got on Samsung chat and politely explained that I had missed out and was wanting to purchase the fold 6 and was disappointed that I had signed up and not got the email 2 years in a row and they gave me a code.

    Mileage may vary but if you missed out, might be a way to get the $200

        lol I mean you can not believe me or actually believe the fact that Samsung are notorious at not sending out emails for promos.

        I remember when they used to offer $50 to sign up to their newsletter and you'd be signed up but never get the $50. Was an effort getting on to chat and trying to get them to sort it. Always told you to wait a few days in the hope you'd forget about it

    Im being told by samsung that I cant trade my Note 8 even though it appears in the trade list. Ive adde the note 8 to the trade and its $25 and i get the bonus 450. But they are saying the validation on my id is failing because I cant trade a note 8 for the Fold6.

      230g vs 270g (big difference in your pocket)

      Fold3 have snapdragon 888 (Notorious for being hot and power hungry)

      Fold6 have 8Gen3 which is a lot faster and cooler.

      Upgraded 50MP camera from 12MP.

      Fold6 also have AI live translation in calls. I found it funny to call people.

    Traded my Flip5 256GB for the Flip6 256GB via EDU store using UNFOLDAI and the unique unpack code.
    Don't need another pair of earbuds. So I got the Kindsuit case, 65W Power adapter trio and screen protector.

    Also had some rewards points to use ($23.50). Total came up to $468.40 for me.

    PS: No issues using my VIC Driver's Licence for the trade in

        Select a phone you don't have (S8 has lowest trade in value of $5). Enter pseudo IMEI. Indicate that it's scratched at checkout to lower the trade in value to $1. Don't send it in and get charged $60 (or $30) + $1. But the trade in bonus will still apply to the order.

                @cardiology: Yea. I sat there for ages trying to get my QLD Licence to work. Thought I was outta luck as the only other option was an Aussie Passport and I'm a kiwi with a NZ Passport. Thought I'd give it a crack just to see and it took the kiwi passport straight away

      Trade in value is an additional as differs based on what you trade in thats why didn't include it. Clearly mentioned the extra payment for accessory. And if you return your trade-in device, you won't incur device non-return fee.

          Thats understood when you avail a deal thats based on trade in. It can be saving too. For example, trade in value of S24U comes in $900, but if you don't send it and sell it on FB, you can fetch say $1200, then the total price will differ. Thats why didn't include the trade-in value in the deal.

    Am I correct in saying the ecosystem voucher only applies to an accessory? The min. price is then (2750*0.8-450-200)*0.95 = $1472.5

    Or am missing something?

      It's essentially a voucher for $200/$400 worth of accessories.

      You pick which accessories you want as long as the total equals or exceeds the voucher value, and when you add to cart, it gives you the voucher for the phone, but you pay for the accessories.

      Eg for the $200 eco voucher, you can choose the galaxy buds 3 for $209 (Edu pricing), it'll take $200 off the phone but you pay $209 for the buds, net is you get buds for $9.
      If you choose case, charger, tag for $190, then this doesn't meet the voucher value and it won't work, you just end up paying $190 for the accessories and get nothing off the phone.

        I'm not sure if this applies to my purchase as I chose the Buds3 Pro which is $399 ($1 less than the $400 voucher value), and I'm terrible with math. Hope that I haven't short changed myself.

      You can choose the lowest trade-in value phone on the pull down list eg $5 phone and enter or google search the IMEI. This will then trigger the trade in discount if you then enter UNFOLDAI in the promo field. If you have enrolled in the unpacking event, there will be another voucher for you as $100, but will double in this 72 hours after yesterday's launch event to $200. Use the Samsung store app to get an extra 5% off EDU list price.

    I see no love for the Z Flip 6 here. It's the same process but just sharing my purchase for wifey (credit to OZBsince2018 for the wonderful post)

    The loophole for cancellation is not completedly fixed
    I have added smarttag 2 (4 pack) and a superfast wireless charger duo (to make use of the $200 ecosystem voucher), itemised at approx $125 and $85 respectively on my receipt.
    I was able to cancel the smarttag 2 immediately but was unable to do so for the wireless charger duo. Expecting the refund of $125 for the smarttag 2.
    Your exact figure and mine may vary slighlty different but you get the idea.

        If you order on edu store, the evoucher is $200, so u try to add accessories to a total >$200 worth to maximise the use of the evoucher. The smart tag 2 X4 is $135 and I wasn't able to purchase more than 1 to get over the $200 mark. So I added the wireless charger but unfortunately was only able to cancel just the smart tag 2. Too late to change to another accessory…

        Nope. I did like the watch ultra and even if I don't want to, selling on marketplace will be better than cancelling. The RRP is $1299 for that watch.
