im still waiting for the 5-stage one to be back at $299!

    • Which 5 stage are you referring at? Can you provide a link?

        Comparison Chart: https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/wc-prod-pim/Asset_Do…

the biggest difference is probably the extra 'pet filter' which seems like an afterthought and higher airflow: 336 m3/hr vs 402 m3/hr at highest setting

(Captures up to 99.9% of airborne VOCs within 2 hours) vs (Captures up to 99% of airborne VOCs within 30 minutes)

        • Probably worth mentioning that the higher airflow at the top fan speed won't matter. Purifiers at max speed tend to be too noisy to use in an occupied room.

          • @rumblytangara: aye yes, but it has a sensor so it boosts up at top speed then drops back down.

        • Thanks.

If I don't have pet. The 4 stage will be fine? Or the other specs are worth the extras money?

@mt2000: Only if its $299 - i'd get the 5-stage one for the higher airflow and because I already have one so buying filters in bulk should hopefully be cheaper. But it hasn't been $299.

This 4-stage air purifier is often at $299 so the real discount is about $30 which is still decent.

            • @lawyerz: Yeah if only $299 again but I doubt it any time soon LOL. With the current price just not worth it.

Just doing some research on this stage 4 and it seem to be a very decent unit for the price? Is this the cheapest ever?

Also I ask at the bottom but I ask here too. This unit is not smart so no app control yeah?

              • @mt2000: no, no app, not even a remote.

Unsure if cheapest ever but definitely decent. I would price match it with officeworks for another 5% off - they do costco now despite membership requirements apparently.

    any recommendations/sales for small dehumidifier?

Probably a desiccant type to go into a small bathroom, cold temps

    • Looking for a well priced dehumidifier too. Aus Climate seem to get recommended here a good bit.

Ionmax desicant dehumifiers are also well regarded, several of them are in Choice's recommended list. Have not seen much discounts for them lately, probably in demand this season. Ranging $350 and up.

    • For my money, we picked up a cheap Kmart one that worked a treat.

      • The small and large age slowing out of stock, I'll have to check in store

        • We got the 2.2L one which frankly may have been overkill. But it sure as heck dries out small and medium sized rooms in a few hours.

  • Where do you guys get the replacement filters for this ?

  • Can this be able to control with an app?

  • Is this better than Compact 4 and Philips AC1215? Will be using inside our bedroom.
