Get both
this has more storage and a pen, if that's something you want
For gaming/video editing, ipad.
Other stuff, this.
Look at all the snowflakes who believe in stats negging this positive reviewer.
Genuine multi-user , so only need one device to share amongst the kids with their own profiles.
This. It was $524 at office works last week when I bought it for my wife. She loves it (compared to her old Samsung tablet). I have an iPad Pro (first model pro) and I prefer her new Samsung as well.
What CPU does this have?
Octa-core (4x2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) I guess
Google says exynos 1380
exynos (eww)
No eww. It works perfectly fine, it’s fast, it does all you want.
https://benchmarks.ul.com/hardware/tablet/Samsung+Galaxy+Tab…
whopping 17fps in 3dmark wildlife
"fast" = basically not usable for a bunch of mobile games, HSR etc
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/849437
you can get ~60fps on 3dmark wildlife for lower price
lenovo y700 etc, $400-500 tablet w/ older sd8g1+ will run games at 60fps high instead of 30fps low graphics
s9fe is just super underspecced
@HPdeskjet: In real life it works perfectly well. My wife is s happy with it and it’s speed.
@PVA: For social and browsing use etc sure, any modern tablet over $100 and 6-8gb of ram will be smooth.
Not "it's fast, it does all you want," at $500 it's basically unable to run any demanding games (which basically all other tablets in the $300-400 range are able to do), which I find to be fairly unacceptable.
@HPdeskjet: I’m just saying my wife is happy with it. Games use to crash on the old one, she has no issues with any game she plays on this one.
@PVA: That's fair enough.
I was just saying that a lot of people have had known issues playing honkai, genshin etc at acceptable framerates on the e1380/e1480 lineup, whether it be s9fe or a55 etc, so if someone played those they shouldn't consider this unit.
What's up with reviews sold stolen goods and all lol.
Wow, this has wi-fi!?
Lmao, it means it's a non-5G version, but does seem a bit backwards to list it like a feature 😂
but does seem a bit backwards to list it like a feature
It's part of the name as an identifier so that buyers know it's the "wifi only" variant as opposed to the LTE version. It's been on tablets and smartwatches for as long as they've been around.
Does the wifi work? Galaxy tab 8 has serious wifi issues, at least mine does…
Does OF do price beat with Amazon ??
yes it worked for me
Only Fans is a different market so unlikely to do pricebeat
If you had an onlyfans the neckbeards will get you an ipad. Just have to have no shame an uWu constantly.
Just beat
Based on the recent Amazon reviews that stolen tablets are being supplied, I'd avoid it and buy from Officeworks instead.
I am sure I got this for $200 from Samsung pre-order deal last October
You got a $700 tablet for $200? lol, nah.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/805705
you're probably not familiar with Samsung pre-order deals. I also added $50 from newsletter and got it for $203.60 according to the invoice
probably second best deal on Samsung products ever, after S24 Ultra pre-order this January (typing this on my S24U from that deal lol)
Does anyone use OneNote for handwriting with a Samsung tablet? Have a Lenovo tablet and because doesn't have system wide palm rejection OneNote is unusable. Some apps are great like Bamboo Paper, but really want direct into OneNote…
What lenovo tablet are you using it, bro?
P11 with Precision Pen 2023
Try the app called "Squid" for proper palm rejection on your lenovo P11
Guys only 9 day to go till prime day hold off on buying because prime day usually fetches decent deals
I tried this on display and I couldn’t believe how it was stuttering in 2024 doing simple tasks.
Same, reason I did not buy a previous deal. Given the price it like a cheap non name brand tablet
Wifi constantly drops out too if you're using wifi 6e
Office works must have increased the price. I bought it for $524 last week (same as HN and Amazon)
I thinks it's $50 less with code on ebay
If Prime Day wasn't around the corner, I would have got this.
iPad or this?
