7500f is basically the same CPU with no iGPU for $200 and change on aliexpress. Obviously no Australian warranty on that, although i’m not sure you’ll get an australian warranty on this either.

    • yeah, basicly. I don't think 7600 with 100Mhz extra clockspeed in base and turbo frequency will make any difference.

Sometimes its good to have a iGPU for when your graphics card fails or you quit gaming and sell it.

I think after Zen5 9600X and soon after 9600 comes out we will see the Zen4 7600 priced at $200-$250 all day every day. I will be buying a Zen5 9600X on day 1 :)

I'm guessing the Zen5 9600X will go on sale at around $399 and the Zen5 9600 will come out around Christmas for $329

    • 9600 still going to be 6 cores and 12 threads?

are they stalling on cpu cores like intel did from like 4th gen to 12th gen

      • YES & NO.. The whole lineup will still be using 8 core CCX's (Chiplets) While the laptop Zen5 will be using a big core little core design like intel ( Zen5 + Zen5c )
Zen5 carries over the same configuration with large architectural improvements. 16% IPC is way more then the 5% intel gave us while still sticking with only 4 cores each time

All of AMD's CPU's are server chiplets that are binned down and repurposed for desktop

Zen6 will be a new core layout. The market is expecting 12 or 16 cores Per CCX (Chiplets) . Not sure if this will be an all power core design or a mixed design like intel or Zen5 laptop chips. 8 cores of Zen6 with 4 cores of Zen6c..

Who knows… time will tell but everyone thinks we will get more cores with Zen6 regardless of how we get them.

        • cheers for the informative post :)

i was simply expecting ipc upgrade + soke new instruction sets.

curious to see if the big core little core approach helps with battery life in laptops with the new breed of snapdragon arm laptops

@vanyellow: intel removed HT from laptops to help with that.. should be interesting .
