Seems like a pretty good deal for a 4g lte model with inbuilt GPS functionality. At this price it's definitely better value than the wifi only version currently on sale at a few stores.

Makes for a great poor peeps in-car navigation if you're close to being blind and need a larger screen.

JB Hi-Fi will price match however this model is only available online which incurs postage costs.

Mobileciti has it for the same price on their site too.
https://www.mobileciti.com.au/lenovo-tab-m11-lte-w-tab-pen-1…

Mobileciti ebay store has it for the same price, however there is an additional $20 off available with code HGTECH.

No idea when the sale ends though.

Released in January 2024, the specs are better than the Samsung A9+ wifi and the Lenovo P11 (when using spec comparison websites).

    • Nice find :)

    • oooh noice

    • and with tab pen !

      • Ain't the M11 one like $150 at somepoint ?

        • This one is the 4g lte sim version.

          • @ohdarn: hmm so double for adding the 4g slot … hmmm not to sure will trigger impulse buying

            • @CyberMurning: Yeah that bing lee afterpay sale was a pretty good price for the wifi version. Usually goes for around $250 when on sale.

Of the lte versions though, this definitely is the best value. Jumped on it to take advantage of gps without having to tether my data.

If into gaming etc, the P series is better.

The Galaxy series are pretty good, but anything with lte costs a chunk unfortunately.

@CyberMurning: The lte version has double the ram too.

    • the real bargain is always on the comment section

    • I bought it at this price 2 days ago.
      They shipped it.

  • I've updated the description to include the ebay option also. Thanks for the heads up.

This tablet CPU (G88) is 40 - 50% slower than Samsung A9+ (SD695), it is not exactly speedy.

This is a comparison between this 8gb version and the A9+.

      • Worth noting that if you have a Galaxy phone, the A9+ auto hotspots through it, saves a second SIM.

        • what's that feature ?

          • @AndrewMTG: Samsung auto hot spot. Uses your Samsung phone for internet. Google is bringing out their version with all android phones soon except samsung

            • @R3XNebular: Does it share your hospot from pbone or like simcard to the tablet?

As in the hospot itself running of the tablet right ? since hospot on phone drain battery quicklyy

              • @AndrewMTG: You’re over thinking it. I just makes it easier to tether you tablet to your phone. Nothing more.

iPads/iPhones have had this for ages. Even between others on your Apple family account.

            • @R3XNebular: Interesting. Do you have a link? So this means any Android tablet will auto hotspot to any Android phone? Which android versions? I get a bit stuck on Samsung tablets as I love this feature. I might be tempted to get a Legion Y900 if I could auto hotspot to my S24 Ultra.

      • They’re comparing the 4gb ram version of the a9 plus (64gb) to the 8gb ram version of the m11. Similar to the m11, there are 4gb and 8gb versions on these two tablets. The higher storage a9 plus has double the ram, the lte version of the m11 also has double the ram at 8gb.

bought this recently. perfect for Netflix, browsing and some.apps

  • I have this. It’s OK but slower than I expected. Plus, it’s not strong enough to scale down Stremio 4k feeds. I have to look for 1080p feeds to play, which is not many in this day and age.

    • Is this the wifi only version or the lte 4g out of curiosity?

      • I have the 4G LTE version

        • Being the LTE version, I assume means you have 8GB RAM? Thats a big shame as I’ve had my eye on this for a while.

Have you done any drawing on it? Or reading comics?

    • Sorry but what made you expect otherwise? Unlike the phone market in which Androids compete with iPhone, the tablet market is dominated by iPad for a reason. Low end Android tablets such as this one have always been horrible. Samsung's high end ones are great but they're more expensive than a base iPad.

    • What's stremio

  • Hi all. Looking for a new tablet for work, take to meetings for notes, quick emails, note back ups etc but also a replacement for my kindle.

Would this or the Samsung tab be better? Will get a case and pen with either.

For what you've described, this tablet should be more than suffice.

    • 1st - Make sure to get the 8GB+128GB version of A9+ instead of the 4GB+64GB. (4GB is not sufficient for day to day multi-apps operations except single task use case)

Pros of Samsung: Better Software (Currently, OneUI 6.1 with May 2024 security patch) , Faster CPU (30 -50% Faster), better Screen/Camera (on paper), Much Easier to buy protective case
Pros of Motorola: Cheaper Price with 4G LTE

      Cons of Samsung: More Expensive
Cons of Motorola: Lack of software updates, slower CPU (A9+ is not exactly speedy but this is definitely on the slow side), nearly unuseable Camera

Thank you both for the responses.

Not sure where you're getting your 30 - 50% data from in terms of cpu speed.

        https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-qualcomm_snapdrago…

I agree the snapdragon is definitely a better cpu though. Cost is pretty high for the A9+ 5G 128GB at $549 (JB sale price).

        • First, I wasn't the one who negged you.

For CPU performance, I got the data from this website: https://www.notebookcheck.net/SD-695-5G-vs-Helio-G88_14148_1…

For A9+, depending whether you need 5G, if not, the price will be a bit cheaper. Personally, I think Motorola Phones / Tablets are great value for the price but lacking of software updates still bother me.

          • @bobokingdom: Sorry bud if I came across as a dick, not my intention.

I myself can't comment too much on the m11 as this will be my first. I've got a P11 (2nd Gen) wifi, but it doesn't have any gps functionality (in the wifi version) which totally sucks. Hoping things like waze and google maps will work a treat. Should be ok as those apps aren't too resource heavy.

I probably wouldn't recommend the m11 for anyone that wants the tablet for gaming though.

            • @ohdarn: That's odd. I am sure my Samsung A9+ WiFi definitely has GPS. Make sure to give "location" permissions in your Maps (or other Apps) to allow GPS usage.

  • It probably has. Most tablets have it these days. I was referring to the P11 wifi not having it.

If the Lenovo deal wasn't out, I probably would've jumped on the A9+ wifi deal. Lte and 8gb of ram vs 4gb on the A9+ wifi was probably one of the reasons I went with Lenovo.

The A9+ 5g would most likely crap all over the Lenovo M11, but the price is still up there.
