    • This is everyone waiting for their flight.

Anyone else think it was an old Mac Pro?

If the wheels are compatible that would be the bargain

  • What?!

  • This would be much more appealing if it didn't look like the ugliest filing cabinet they could find.

Given how painfully utilitarian this is, they may as well part out the entire plane through the store. As a souvenir, what's the big difference between an ugly bar cart and say, an armrest, or overhead locker?

Excellent. Another narrow tooling cabinet for the workshop, plus it doesn't dent the budget.

For those wondering why anyone would want them, they make great industrial cabinets for workshops. Plus its often hard to find narrow cabinets which are sufficiently robust. These are designed to be knocked around and still work well, with good brakes and fairly good ergonomics. I got a 747 one during COVID and use it to hold all my mill and lathe tools along with drills etc between the mill and lathe. Being wheeled it makes it easy to shift around to best suit the work that im doing, and being narrow means I'm not trying to fit a full 600mm cabinet between them and wasting floor space.

This one will do a similar job with my 3d printers.

Adam Savage does similar, see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wggcGPMtsR0

Thanks for the explanation. For a specific purpose like that I can understand how these are sought after. Just not for the average person. Personally, I would rather spend my points on 5 return trips from MEL to SYD.

    • I'm not into projects like you are (would be nice but not going to happen) so I'm planning an IKEA helmer for $70

    • Sounds like your steel tools are a good chance to break the plastic drawers

  • Empty OOS

    • Perfect excuse to get the fully stocked one then ;)

  • any tyres on sale? Might stock up as my car probably needs new tyres in the next few months…

Would you care for an orange juice?

      If it needed me.

      • Correct response

  • Probably better than the "classic rewards" bs

    coffee, tea, or me?

Somebody should buy one of these, then bring it as their hand luggage on a Qantas flight for the lols. Not me tho, I'm not that silly.

For anyone wanting Qantas scrap metal, I've got some cracked Tupperware with missing lids going cheap.

  • Wow so many Ozbargainers wanting to own a piece of Boeing plane model that has had so many issues:

    • Qantas does not fly the Max 8

I personally have flown on Qantas 737s so often that I would have bought one of these.

Cheers. Got one for the Mrs. She's been wanting to get involved in my flight sim gaming.

    OOS already?!
Wow those things flew out the door! (Too soon?)

    • Cart imagine why anyone would want this.

      • Why not? I bought 3. I have more than 15 million qantas points, even after burning 2 million qantas points last year.

        • Do you wheely need it though?

Ok I'll stop with the puns, you obviously missed the first one.

Curious to know how you got so many points.

  • Do a price beat with Bonza

  • Seen too many of these dropped while full with water, juice, drinking glasses, etc, and the noise it generates is certainly something else. I've probably handled a fair few of these carts myself now that I think about it lol. (FYI: I didn't drop any) Be careful handling these and definitely do no try to catch it mid-fall !

  • Qantas expecting people to blow their points on something stupid like this, purely out of brand nostalgia, for a brand they flushed down the toilet themselves 15 years ago.

  • Any Boeing mid exit doors for sale?

    • Free at a random location near you

  • They are likely carts that have too much damage to be repaired for use or not worth repairing. My guess would be a Driessen cart as Qantas have used those in the past.

  • Just waiting for them to put up the airplane toilets on the qantas store so my mile high club fantasy can come true.

  • dang it, i missed out :(
i need this for my man cave

That's to pay the ceo bonus

The comments on here are hilarious - who would want this? Good luck selling them Qantas you bastards? Oh OOS…

    • Ahh downvoted for starting facts, gotta love it. Objectively if everyone hated Qantas as much as internet comments would indicate they would be out of business 20 years ago, expecting more downvotes now 🤣
